Setting up a Mesh Network is super easy. They are basically plug and play. I've had a couple. I had a Eero for a few years and when that started failing, I switched to a Google Nest about 18 months ago and it's been great. I get great coverage throughout my house and even good out on my deck. In addition, I use the Google Home app to stream music to various Google Home and Google mini devices (I like them better than Alexa devices personally).

Here is the one I have. I'm sure there is a newer one now. **Not sure why it thinks Amazon is Media. Just copy all but the xx in front to see the system.

Thanks finally found some good info on them and understand them a bit more. Went with an Orbi from netgear.

He did well this year.

I don’t expect Wisconsin to be in the top 3 consistently moving forward, so I’d consider that a fade from where you were under Bo.
To be fair, I feel like I’ve said this every year forever except for last year

Never thinking it again. Ever!

Cool, Matta is gone, and your new coach would have rather been as successful as Illinois these past three years. We don’t need to look back a full decade to compare.

And I love that you are trying to trash Illinois for losing to Houston early. You’ve lost in the first two rounds the last 6x (7 counting the NIT) you’ve been there, and one was to a substantially worse Houston team with Holtmann. You’re a worse version of the product you’re railing on.

Worse version huh?

since 2010:

Illinois:
Tournament appearances: 4
Sweet 16: 0
Elite 8: 0
Final 4: 0
Conference titles: 1

Ohio State
Tournament appearances: 8
Sweet 16: 4
Elite 8: 2
Final 4: 1
Conference titles: 3

And Holtmann sucks but in the last 3 years has been to the tournament more than Underwood, womp womp. Keep trying. This is a football school outperforming the mighty Illini “basketball school”. But sure tell me how it’s better that Illinois didn’t even make the tournament opposed to Ohio State making it and losing first round

Illinois has been better than OSU the past 3 years man.

“Look what Thad Matta did over a decade ago” isn’t really an argument for where your team is now. I get that it is the only leg you have to stand on because Underwood is winning that conversation handily.

Holtmann inherited a good product and turned it into one that can’t compete for a Big Ten title over a 5 year span. Your program hasn’t finished above 5th in conference in 9 seasons. That’s who you are. You’re just a football school with a middle of the road Big Ten basketball team.

Don’t believe me? Iowa has finished with or above you in 4/5 seasons since Holtmann. I’m done beating this dead horse.

Edit: Looks like Illinois beats OSU again.

I have said this before so I am not biased to the current situation, but a Big Ten Title>>>>>Sweet Sixteen. The real debate comes at the Elite 8 I think.

A Big Ten title you had the best record over anyone in your conference for 20 games and raise a banner. You won the conference. For the sweet 16 you win for most 2 games. Albeit those games are in March Madness, but it’s 2 wins.
I'll take an E8 and above over a conference title any day. Top 8 in the country > a conf title with an uneven schedule and awful officiating.

That’s funny you think I’m taking about Holtmann being a good coach when I’ve repeatedly said he’s underachieved and needs to go.

Nope this all started with me pointing out the truth that Illinois continuously chokes in the tournament every year (well when they make it). But you like to point out how they’re head and shoulders better than Ohio State (which the last 3 years they have been, but keep cherry picking times). That doesn’t change the fact they’re overrated every year and have accomplished nothing since 2005. Keep that holier than thou Big Bad Illini attitude up. Imagine being a “basketball school” and getting a 1 seed only to lose in the second round. Or having a (most likely) player of the year and losing in the second round again LMAO

So back to my original post, show me where I’m wrong about them being repeat choke artists?

Now that Lander has entered the portal does CondomBoy still think Lander is better than Ivey???
I've always tried to be careful with these type of comments...

Reasoning being? Ya just never know WTF is gonna happen...

Keegan Murray is a finalist for NPOY....!st team everything....Averaged 23ppg.

Last year?--------7ppg.

Davis B10 player of year----NPOY candidate.....19ppg

Last year?-------Yep, 7ppg.

Now...in NO way am I saying Lander is gonna do that^^^^^^^---MOF, its highly unlikely he does. I mean like, winning the lottery unlikely....BUT----And just curious----but did you have either of these dudes Being B10 POY, NPOY candidates coming into this season? If you did....You need to call every single NBA team and apply ASAP for a GM position....

I'm comfortable taking the risk of saying Lander never sniffs Ivey's accomplishments at the college or professional level.

I get what you are saying, but those two dudes taking a leap from solid freshman contributors to bona fide studs as sophomores is one thing. A guy catching splinters as a sophomore on a bubble team somehow becoming an All-America level performer is entirely different.

The biggest difference IMO is Davis and Murray were stuck behind old guys. Wisky had returned every1 from B1G title and Iowa had Luka, weiskamp, son 1, kid that went ‘Tucky.

Their potential was noted def didn’t expect that growth. I think their situation is a lot closer to RJ Melendez than Lander. Full disclosure I don’t expect RJ to be an American or 1st teamer next year. Just don’t think Landers is a good comp to them.

I thought JD was going to be a really good 4 year player for us. Maybe goes after JR year if he improves a ton by then. Did not expect that quick of a jump. He’s got plenty to work on still but might as well make millions while doing it.

Some guys also just have that next level athleticism and body control that sticks out in comparison to their peers. It was easy to see with K. Murray & Ivey last season.

Don’t think anyone needed to call NBA GMs since Ivey was already considered a lotto pick before the season started.

Just FYI but I would not be upset if Purdue won it all. They handled 2019 about as well as one could expect and I think Painter is a very good coach. Michigan winning would be awful. I have way too many friends from my PhD program who went to Michigan and they are obnoxious af about Michigan athletics.

Last season as in 2020-21? I don’t remember that being a talking point but I may have missed it. I remember most of the focus being on Iveys athleticism (or lack thereof), which was dumb then and still is dumb now.
Yeah, I think he compared Ivey’s athleticism to Galloway. And compared Lander to Morton if I remember correctly.
