Michigan in a down year already makes it further than MSU did last year

AND

Tom Brady just unretired.

Fun day for Michigan fans.

We’ve been told for years that the final game on Sunday for the B1G tourney didn’t matter for seeding. Also, the Big East sucks.

edit: On a final note, vegas is a better indicator than any expert’s eye test or the analytic sites. Purdue is #7 on the sites to win it all right now despite the being in the bracket from hell.
Your region and our region are the two most difficult.

I agree that the Big East is weak is hell, but they always give Nova the benefit of the doubt if they win their tourney. Just how it is, or at least how it seems.

Vegas respects Purdue so much that Iowa is #13 favorite now

Villanova is usually a good pick to go home early.

I was thinking about going see Hurley in the state finals this weekend but remembered how shitty that arena is 😉
I see they made it. First time for them? It’ll be just like you’re at a high school game in those concourses.

The GOAT Purdue team should be able to handle Texas/Va Tech
I'm not sure why you started calling this the GOAT Purdue team, but that's not the case. We have our most talented player from an NBA perspective since Big Dog, but this isn't the best Purdue team of all time, let alone Painter's best team.

09/10 w/ Hummel was Painter's best, and the 18/19 team is arguably a better team from a starters perspective.

I personally think the ‘87-‘88 team is Purdue’s best (not old enough to have watched the 1980 team or Rick Mount teams). That team was really great. Absolutely destroyed Kansas St in the regular season, but had a down game and lost to a hot Mitch Richmond performance in the S16. Kansas ends up coming out of the bracket as a #6 seed and wins it all.

This team definitely has more talent than 18/19. The Hummel year doesn’t really count due to his injury before the tourney.

UK not a good match up for Purdue
Edey is a good matchup for Tshiebwe, so as long as Trevion is playing well you should have the edge in the post.

Ivey is going to need to play well though, and your role players will have to hit from deep.

I’m giving you guys the edge, but it’ll be close.

One of the Iowa idiots tried to troll us with it and Gillinois jumped on board since he’s not bright enough to come up with his own troll takes.

It would be funny as fvck if his horrific trolling/shit talking was prophetic and you guys won it all.
True. Sadly, I don’t see it with this bracket. We are more likely to lose in the second round to Chris Beard (again) or the team that just bitch slapped Duke to win the ACC tourney Than we are to reach the Final Four.

Lolz this Purdue team was ranked #3 in preseason rankings a week after being eliminated by North Texas.

I brought it up back then.

Do your research, fool.

We were overrated and had a down year. And our down year ended up an 11 seed instead of a missed tournament thankfully.
That’s an impressive spin for having a pre-season all American candidate, #1 recruiting class in country, 5th year guard returning that was a multiple year starter and a PG better than Smith.

What’s the spin? I’m stating what happened. Everyone (including me) thought Michigan would be good. We sucked. Thankfully we didn’t suck enough to miss the tournament.
