Notice how I said one of your returning guards will need to improve OR get an impact player in the portal. Seems like you chose door number 1.IU’s guard rotation next year projects to be:

For sure. Obviously you get 5 seconds once the official makes this determination. So if it takes you a couple of seconds to pick the ball up (always reasonable), you can burn 6-7 seconds at least. Its a clever move, but you are taking a chnce here too on an official starting a count...Underestand this----IF an official feels the ball is at your disposal, within reach for you to get it, and put the ball in play, they can, BY RULE, start a count. This rule is in effect to keep teams from letting multiple seconds run off....Also, they can stop the clock in this situation if they feel the team is intentionally doing this to let time run off.
FIFYHe was unbelievable last night . Just a fvcking monster . Dude needs to GTFO the conference sick of him abusing everyone except Zach Edey lol
Yup, I'm not counting on him being back. Would love it, but chances are low, imo.Would definitely help his longterm prospects in the league, but it’s doubtful given his position on mocks.
Not as much as yore 32 point beat down in 2015.Wisconsin took so much penis last night, I didn't think it was humanly possible.
You guys were third on my list after IU and Michigan. I just didn’t know which players were thinking about coming back and nobody has a floor on your roster as high as Dickinson or TJD.MSU could be pretty good depending on who returns. If Christie and Bingham come back I think we’ll be really good.

Low is an understatement lol.Yup, I'm not counting on him being back. Would love it, but chances are low, imo.
Probably transfer portal.Where’s Lander?
Lol you clearly know nothing about XJ if you think he would be better off as an off-guard.Notice how I said one of your returning guards will need to improve OR get an impact player in the portal. Seems like you chose door number 1.
XJ is alright, but to me personally, he’d be better off as an off-guard than a PG. Bates has been underwhelming to this point. He’s had one good game in Conference and it was against winless Nebraska so… One of these 2 will need to improve for that to be an area of strength and not just a net neutral.
Low is an understatement lol.
Gotta be less than 1% at this point
Tomorrow
Cockburn’s place, apparently he couldn’t get enough of that pounding last nightWhere you heading?
Florida. North of ft meyers.Where you heading?
Cockburn’s place, apparently he couldn’t get enough of that pounding last night
You don’t think he could slide to a an off-guard position like Eli Brooks or Trent Frazier if he had a better distributor next to him?Lol you clearly know nothing about XJ if you think he would be better off as an off-guard.
JHS is a likely upgrade to RP. Sophomore Bates > Freshman Bates. Super Senior XJ and Stewart > Senior XJ and Stewart.
Why would he do that when he is usually the best distributor on the court? Again, have you actually seen him play? He averages 4.5 apg.You don’t think he could slide to a an off-guard position like Eli Brooks or Trent Frazier if he had a better distributor next to him?
Not good enough of a shooter or what?
Have you seen his shot? You don’t think he could slide to a an off-guard position like Eli Brooks or Trent Frazier if he had a better distributor next to him?
Not good enough of a shooter or what?
I’m not sure why Christie would go . Where is he in mocksMSU could be pretty good depending on who returns. If Christie and Bingham come back I think we’ll be really good.
I'm pretty sure he has never seen him play. No one who has seen him play would think he would be better off playing off the ball.Have you seen his shot?
He’s shooting a higher percentage than Frazier from 3 this year, obviously less volume. Why would he do that when he is usually the best distributor on the court? Again, have you actually seen him play? He averages 4.5 apg.
And no, he isn't a good enough shooter to play off the ball.
36% from 3.Have you seen his shot?
I don’t think he’s capable of playing off ball. He’s shooting a higher percentage than Frazier from 3 this year, obviously less volume.
But I think you’d be better off going to point guard by committee, thus whoever has the weakest defender brings the ball up.
Based on what? He’s a good PG.He’s shooting a higher percentage than Frazier from 3 this year, obviously less volume.

Based on what? He’s a good PG.
Like not willing to play off ball or specific limitations to his game?I don’t think he’s capable of playing off ball.
Definitely? No. That’s pretty much the case with every player in college basketball. He has expressed interest in coming back, though. Is he definitely coming back though?
He thrives with the ball in his hands. Idk why you would want to move him off ball. Doesn’t make any sense.Like not willing to play off ball or specific limitations to his game?
So was Ayo and Trent, yet they split the duties.Based on what? He’s a good PG.
He averages more assists and less turnovers than Curbelo last year. And has a far better A/T ratio than Ayo had.So was Ayo and Trent, yet they split the duties.
I just don’t think he’s capable of being a full time point on a contending team.
Just an opinion, feel free to disagree
Curbelo was coming off the bench as a high risk/high reward player. That’s much different than running the show all game.He averages more assists and less turnovers than Curbelo last year. And has a far better A/T ratio than Ayo had.
I honestly think you just haven’t watched him play. That’s the only thing that would make sense.
We are halfway through the Big Ten slate and we are 2 games out of 1st. He’s doing just fine.
The pig cock Iowa sucks.Let's play pictionary
Up first
8=====================================)
So Purdue isn’t a contender because their PG doesn’t average enough points? Is Illinois a contender this year? XJ has way better numbers than either of those two team’s PGs.Curbelo was coming off the bench as a high risk/high reward player. That’s much different than running the show all game.
Ayo averaged 5.3 assists to 3.3 to’s. Xavier Johnson averages 4.3 assists to 2.3 to’s
That’s a ~0.3 difference in assists to TO ratio. He also averages about half the points…
Is Indiana still on pace for 13-15 wins in conference?
Lol at comparing your team to a team with Jaden Ivey on it.So Purdue isn’t a contender because their PG doesn’t average enough points? Is Illinois a contender this year? XJ has way better numbers than either of those two team’s PGs.
Where are you getting 13-15 wins? I said 12-13, and yea we still look good for that.
True, BUT......just b/c you pick the ball up, AGAIN, if the officials feel you are intentionally stalling, they can start a count. It rarely occurs, but its something within the rules that can be enforced. For sure. Obviously you get 5 seconds once the official makes this determination. So if it takes you a couple of seconds to pick the ball up (always reasonable), you can burn 6-7 seconds at least.
