I’m not really high on him in general but I think Marquette is basically the perfect fit for him. Still has that mid major feel to the program but within a power 6 conference that is no where near as strong as it once was. As long as he finishes in the top half of a weak big east, he’s likely making the tourney every year. Not exactly a tough bar to hurdle.
I would be willing to bet right now Illinois finishes top 5 in the conference. I don’t need to know what happens with the draft or portal.
