Pretty sure Beard is a Texas guy so it might take some serious $$$ to get him out of the state.
I think offensively, he'll probably be skilled enough to play the 4, but I don't expect he'll be in the Hummel/V. Edwards/(possibly) Wheeler mold of a face-up decision-maker who can initiate the offense.
I wonder about his ability to guard the 4 at the HM level. But he's still just finishing his sophomore year, so who knows what he'll look like in two years.
maybe McDermit out of Creighton. he might get a look, or there is Few is a possibility. my question though is how are the recruits reacting to this?
I'm sure you are. Losing two in-state 5* Mr. Basketball players and multiple other 4* in-state players. Sounds like something I'd really be excited about.

Morton could turn out to be a very good player for Purdue and you can't stand that,
Purdue has always been losing 5* Mr Basketball players to IU and they always will.
Personally, I care about what happens on the court much more than what happens in the offseason. And I'm happy with what is happening on the court for both teams.
As to the Ivey thing, Brian said he is more like Carsen Edwards' mindset with Jon Octeus' body but I'm not surprised you tailored that comment to your liking.

Morton took an official visit to Purdue last year and it’s early in the game when it comes to 2019 recruiting. Just saying.
