lolIt might be time for some soul searching if this guy has triggered you that bad.
Congrats Purdue. Morton will be a heckuva a player.

We were told a couple weeks back that his list wouldn't expand, but didn't anticipate the commitment coming. Huge props to Painter.Sounds like most people in the industry were "shocked" that he made decision earlier this week. Kudos to Painter for that one.
Agreed, Morton is a perfect backcourt mate for Ivey. Walton would and still could (with oversign), be a great addition, but Morton was the better fit.We were told a couple weeks back that his list wouldn't expand, but didn't anticipate the commitment coming. Huge props to Painter.
I honestly thought Kerwin Walton was gonna jump on the offer after Ivey committed to secure his spot. I would've been happy with Walton, but Morton was always highest on my list out of our targets so I'm thrilled with this.
Now it'll be interesting to see where we go. We only have 1 more slot as of now, and I'm not sure if Painter will actually oversign, though I obviously want him to since it's been rare that we've had actual recruiting momentum. Seems like it comes down to Ben Carlson, Kiyrion Powell (if he gets an offer), and Hunter Dickinson (who will be tough) if we stick to 1 scholarship.
Wanted Walton as well but he missed his shot. Agree it's one of those three for the final spot. I think Carlson makes the most sense. We were told a couple weeks back that his list wouldn't expand, but didn't anticipate the commitment coming. Huge props to Painter.

Aging myself? WTF?So is Donald Trump Laughing you're aging yourself.
Now, back to basketball.
What call is he referring to here?
This thread got weird in a real hurry.
Not Zima. Mccallan 25 last night.yeah... looks like SNU had one too many zimas last night
Not trolling, but there's been quite a bit of noise out there about a number of guys who hate playing for Fran.Moss is looking at Ninny, IL, and Iowa St.
Geez, he must really have hated it here, lol

Who wouldn't love playing for a guy that looks like an econ professor with the temperament of a psycho? Not trolling, but there's been quite a bit of noise out there about a number of guys who hate playing for Fran.
Pretty excited about Davis, Brunk and TJD on the inside for the Hoosiers. One big thing is Davis needs to stay out of foul trouble. He still seems to foul a good amount.
Agreed on both points. I always thought he was best as a sub in for Morgan. In general, I agree he didn't look 100%, but I would attribute that to loss of time to get in shape in the summer of 2018 and early in the season. Injury wise, I think he was ok, just not in shape. Hoping he gets back in form. Who knows though, he may just be who he is. Brunk will definitely help spell him on the inside. I'm just hoping playing Davis/TJD or Brunk/TJD doesn't clog things up too much. Interested to see how that all plays out. Not trolling here, and I don't want to get to that, but I do think our outside shooting will be improved given that Romeo and Morgan were sub 30% shooters, so that should help open things up some.I really thought Davis would be that 3rd leg of the stool this year but he didn't look like he was ever 100% and in the games that I saw, I'm not sure Archie ever really figured out how to play him and Morgan together successfully.
You're a creeper tooI bet I spent a lot more time finding out fin dragonhawk was legit or a massive troll than SNU took finding out bwesty and toast sleep in tents together.
Don’t regret it either

I tend to agree, but hope Archie can figure things out. I do know TJD has been working on his range, don't know if that bares any fruit next year or not but I know he's been working on it.I'm not sure playing Davis with either of those guys is the best idea. Having two bigs on the floor who can't shoot outside of 10 feet clogs the paint. Your best bet is if either Justin Smith drastically improves from three of Damezi Anderson becomes much more comfortable and gets more minutes.

I'm certainly not saying they can't shoot outside 10 feet. But from what I've seen, both are much more comfortable inside 10 feet and it's an unknown whether they can extend. Obviously would be huge if both could. I still wonder about the Brunk/Davis combo on D even if that occurs. Which one guards stretch 4's?TJD has also said why try and score from 10-15 feet when you can score from 2 feet. He knows that he will not be able to just score from 2 feet in college like he did in high school. I do think he has more of an outside game than that has been shown. Will it translate and be effective next year? Probably not, but he is working hard on it. TJD and Brunk are working together with the same guy and have been since their seasons were over to bring their games outside.
No way we go Brunk and Davis at the same time. I view them as strictly the five spot. Not sure on Brunk because I havent watched him enough, but I would guess both would struggle guarding a four.I'm certainly not saying they can't shoot outside 10 feet. Sorry, I should have went back and read your initial post. I thought you mentioned that combo but you did not.No way we go Brunk and Davis at the same time. I view them as strictly the five spot. I haven't seen TJD enough to know whether or not he's gonna be able to guard the four effectively if he's paired with Davis or Brunk, either. I have high hopes he can, but I think you're right in that those two together will take their lumps.Yeah no way those two are on the floor together unless it is absolutely needed. TJD and Brunk/Davis on the floor at the same time is going to take its lumps too.
One spot left for either Carlson or Hunter DickinsonMorton was a good pickup as he can play the one or 2 and in a small lineup can be the wing guard/3. my question is how do Purdue fans feel about their chance with 6'9 F Carlson out of Minnesota a 4* player? Rivals future cast shows him at 51% to Purdue.
looks like the typical big that Painter likes.
Dickerson will be hard to get from MD, also ND and Virginia are involved, but hey good luck. One spot left for either Carlson or Hunter Dickinson
Well, he’s ranked #29 in the country, so it obviously will be a tough battle.Dickerson will be hard to get from MD, also ND and Virginia are involved, but hey good luck.
in this case rankings has nothing to do with it, Painter does a good job with the Bigs he does. Virginia and MD offer the close to home factor. to me ND is a long shot to get him.Well, he’s ranked #29 in the country, so it obviously will be a tough battle.
