Still a long way to go but two crystal ball picks for Purdue for Ethan Morton (one from Brian Snow) today. What a humongous pick-up that would be.

Another combo guard that is a great shooter?

Taylor Currie transferring from Wisconsin. I believe was committed to UM at some point. Redshirted this past year. Saw him play live a few times in high school (played on Foster Loyer’s team that won back to back state titles) and I was a bit suprised with his UM and Wisconsin offers. Foster was the far, far superior player on that team.

Yea his “highlights” were never impressive. Figured he’d be a towel waiver for many years. At least scrubs are leaving us now and not wasting 5 years of scholarships.

Yeah, it's most different Super Bowl winning QB's. Purdue and Alabama each have 3.

Michigan has the same number of Super Bowl winning QB's as Northern Iowa, Grambling, Navy, Miami (OH) and Louisiana Tech.

Why troll? Because I corrected him? Ffs you guys are something else.

Morton is a bad shooter. Great defensive mind and wonderful passer though. Would be a nice pick up.
Not sure where you are getting that from. Every report I’ve read says that he is a good shooter. He has an all around game, but can also shoot.

Apparently every recruit Purdue signs going forward is going to be labeled a great shooter. LOL!
My bad yo, I remembered the quote from below but forgot about the second part. I just remembered the Dakota Mathias comparison. From what I’ve seen on video though, he doesn’t appear to be a bad shooter but who knows.

“Sound familiar?

Yes, the name Dakota Mathias quickly came out of Purdue coaches' mouths. Morton appreciates that comparison, though he sees more of a mirror image. While Mathias built a reputation as a high-level perimeter shooter and scorer, Morton considers himself more of a facilitator and playmaker.”

Bad might be too far but he isn't what I would call a strength

Everything that I've seen from Snow is that he's an excellent passer, like elite. Shooting has never been something he's said was a strength and has been described as average.

He could use more lift on his jump shot and maybe get a little quicker with his motion so he’ll be able to get his shot off but I do think his form is pretty good at least. So hopefully he can improve there if he indeed is just average now.

Not knocking him at all, as I'd take him on IU in a heartbeat. Just making sure you don't go all @boiler1987 on us claiming him to be the next best recruit ever.

Your hyperbole game is extra strong this week. Remind me what recruit I did that with.

He is someone that other teams in the B1G will hate playing against and already knows how to play defense.

Pretty much every single Purdue recruit starting with Ronnie Johnson. We all know how that worked out. I mean, you've already started it with Newman, too. Lol. It's like clockwork.

What’d I say about Newman that was so crazy? That he’d be a better shooter than Franklin? Lol

Fck Snow...dude tried to say that Nojel is a bad athlete. I was done with him after that.

Morton has been called a PG a SG and SF. all I have seen written about him he is a solid player. nothing wrong with his game either,

Not defending that particular comment but its pretty easy to see if a player can shoot well or not

Would be thrilled with Morton. He's long been my #1 for this class. Will be interesting to see how the rest of 2020 plays out. I think we should oversign since we seem to have a bit more recruiting momentum than we've had in a while.

Surely you jest.
