I’m saying it’s not like your back-up 5 could be much worse than Fitzner. So even if Brunk is average, he’ll be better than what you had last year.

Fitzner was a disaster. Throw my ass out there and I would have been better.
No. You guys are not near as bad of shape as we were. Todd Lickliter and Alford killed our program. Wayyyyyy worse.
People (not important people) want to fire Archie now. If next year is an NIT year I think more people (important people) will try to get him gone along with Fred Glass.
Same. If Fran don't make a sweet 16, Fran isn't gonna want to coach here. It will be that bad. And our is as bad as Fred Glass. One good hire, our baseball coach.

Appears they’re staying put. They’re after Anthony Harris and Q but not sure either are very realistic at this point.
Yeah if we haven't heard anything by now I would think are staying. Green put his name in the draft but only for feedback and I don't think he was a threat to leave after how he ended the season. I still thought Smith might leave, but I am not mad if he stays and knows his role is probably in that back up forward.

draw the best. how comical. Iowa was picked to finish 10th or worse in the BT with a losing record is regular season play, the end resultDude, I defended Carsen all year. It was others that were ripping him for his poor shooting.
And of course our best player led us to the tournament. That happens at most every school. But that doesn't mean he is the sole reason we danced.
But feel free to underestimate what Purdue has coming back. Or better yet, show your jealousy because Purdue's coach knows how to draw the best out of his team and your coach is this guy:

Gonzaga, Iowa, Minnesota can't remember the 4th but the comment that stuck with me, " he is looking at playing FB and BB, where this could give Minnesota the edge is that Gonzaga does not have a FB team.
Minnesota can offer playing time at both and a starting spot on both
Iowa already has their QB in the 20 class in 4* Duece Hogan [247 & ESPN] so the chance at starting or playing for Iowa in FB are very slim.
the 4th school does not have a FB team either. my pick is Minnesota.
Iowa is in on 3 4* PG's and 2 Top 150 PG's. my guess is 3* Robinson out of Louisiana. or 4* Beard out of Whitney Young of Chicago. both are noted for their defense.

We aren't getting Suggs, Iowa aint getting Suggs, Gonzaga probably aint getting Suggs either. Word on the street is that he will probably go the prep route for a year and then enter the draft.
no fantasies involved just posted what the kid himself said. if you don't like Pitinos chance with Suggs I feel sorry for you , here's a follow up Pitino and 1 of his assistants just had a in home visit that lasted 2.5 hours, doesn't say Pitino has no chance to me and if you read the rest of my post NO WHERE did I say that Iowa was going to get Suggs, I listed a couple of Iowa's best chances, hmmm neither of them were named Suggs.

Troussaint is the 1st that fits this description since Cartwirght, Beard would be the 2nd and is a perfect replacement for Jordan.
oh the 4th school that Suggs listed was Marquette. not exactly a who's who of team in the running for Suggs. I will stick with my prediction that Pitino of Minnesota gets him.

Except Purdue got better the less Boudreaux played and Butler got worse the less Brunk played. Did Bourdreaux get hurt? He scored 100pts in nov/dec and 30pts in all of 2019.
