It’s clear that he is a troll and should basically be treated as such. However, with the doxing/stalking, he is actually even worse than Johnhoosier, which one wouldn’t think is possible.
I generally think of trolls as guys that just like to drive by and throw some gas on the fire to get some laughs -- plenty of us here are guilty of this. But SNU takes this shit more seriously than anyone here, to the point that he spends a material amount of time online stalking us when we make him mad...as opposed to laughing this off as a message board.

Feel free to head back to the cirlce jerk at GBI. You won't be missed, I can guarantee you that...

You sure about that? Lol. Social media and Google aren't time intensive or even that hard to navigate.

I'd also argue that you guys take everything that I say, regardless of whether or not I'm actually addressing you guys, WAY too seriously. The fact that I post anything in and of itself is somewhat triggering for several of you on here is pretty funny and weird at the same time.

Yes you've spent more time than anyone here trying to find us online. Just bizarre behavior for a guy with a young family.

Though I'm a bit bearish on Purdue compared to our fans, I'm getting pumped for CBB. Any news coming out of the first practices?

All we've got is that we're likely starting Eastern, Proctor, Sasha, Wheeler, and Haarms, and that Thompson has come in and looked really solid thus far. Newman is hitting shots but there's a learning curve on the details.

More time, yes. A lot of time, no. It was pretty easy actually.

Don't really care if you (or anyone else) think it's weird.

My take aways from what I've seen (Hoosier Hysteria) and read on Peegs is that Franklin is a little ahead of schedule and Hunter looks to be able to hit shots and is playing/participating in all activities. Not gonna lie, I was not sold on his return being a meaningful one until I saw Hoosier Hysteria. Granted it's Hoosier Hysteria and not really that significant, but it was a good glimpse of what he can hopefully do for us. He and Anderson I am really hoping are ready to take that leap and contribute.

@klize17 - What did I miss? What are your thoughts on Brunk?

Being triggered enough to take any amount of time on those searches was telling.
Who was triggered? Lol. I don't really care what was or wasn't telling. We're on an internet message board full of anonymous dudes.

Aaron Henry looks really, really good. Josh Langford is still a bit rusty. Gabe Brown has also taken a big leap.

Hunter is a guy I've always been high on and could be a game changer. I'm skeptical of Anderson's shot coming around being so funky.

Anderson is a shooter. I don't think expecting him to improve his percentage from his freshman year is crazy.

No that's not crazy. He won't shoot worse than 23%. My bigger point is that I generally don't trust guys with funky form until I've seen it work at the college level.

Totally get that about Anderson, but I think last year was just an eye opening experience for him. I think he will be much more comfortable this year.

Hunter has a chance to be very, very good. Will it be this year? I doubt it, but it certainly looks like he is going to be able to help this team.

Do you think Henry might be 2nd or 3rd on the team in scoring?
We have a lot of talent, it’s hard to say. The coaches and insiders seem to be really high on him. Best athlete on the team and his good jumper has apparently gotten better. I’d expect about 10 points a game with him also defending the other teams best wing.

Further detail from Painter fwiw...
looking like playing big with Williams and Haarms is a serious consideration but far from a finished workable product. A logjam at the wing spots with Sasha getting the early nod based on experience.

My very early view- offensive production minus Cline and Edwards clearly the biggest question mark and easy for me to see a measurable delta. We will be moving the ball thru the post at a much higher rate. Seems like the potential for being above recent history on defense and rebounding is pretty good (again based on losing Edwards and Cline). Biggest wild card - will we still shoot the three at a high rate - I’m hoping yes.

Yeah agree with most of what's here. My guess is the Haarms/Williams combo will not be seen some games, and be seen for extended minutes in others. But we'll definitely rely on the post quite a bit, and need to hit shots to make that effective...where I suspect we'll be a bit streaky while we work in some new faces and young guys.

I think if our offense is average, we can be pretty good. My concern is our offense being average...and being turnover prone due to youth and feeding the post. Gotta limit the turnovers.

Additional point: I kinda suspect that we'll look like the 14-15 team, but with a higher ceiling due to far more athleticism.

On turnovers-was thinking about the lineup with Biggie and Haas and remember the turnovers coming back out of the post was a significant problem. Thinking that won’t be the problem with Williams and Haarms but getting the ball to them maybe rears it’s head. Regardless empty possessions will be a killer if the offense trends towards average. A lot of open questions, new guys, different roles - should be a fun year.

the day after I made fun of your "McBob over Cline every day" post, you dug up a picture of my brother that was 3 years old.

That's the dictionary definition of triggered.

We all have bad takes but that one is up there for one of the worst. McBob wasn’t even as good as Eifert.

crazy to me that Langford never amounted to much. His highschool highlight clip was insane
Injured coming into Freshman year so he didn’t help much. Played a support role his Sophomore year and then was actually having a really nice Junior (16 PPG on good shooting %) until that injury. Sucks for him but hoping he can come back and help in his Senior year on a really good team. Injuries derailed his potential.

yeah...just shows that you never know. I thought he was the biggest can’t miss prospect in that class of yours

Penn State should be good. Don't know if I would safely assume they're a lock. Iowa is a bubble & out. That is accurate.

What am I missing with Penn State? I know Lamar Stevens is a great college player, Mike Watkins can be an effective big man even though his ass should be off the team, Curtis Jones has largely been a bust as a player, Bolton is solid. But I wouldn’t even put them as a bubble team.

I have no idea how he can call Penn State a lock. They went 14-18 last year and lost their second and third leading scorers, which includes Reaves who was easily their second best player. Also, they're Penn State. They gotta be on the "bubble and out" line.

I'd also have Wisco in the bubble and in line, and think Purdue will be closer to the bubble than they will be to lock.

And Bolton transferred to Iowa State. I think they could make it, but I see them as a bubble team.

I think that's fair. No argument from me.
