only this time Fran is not going to be run off, Fran is 3-1 in 1st rnd NCAAT games. I count the play in game while some do not. the record stands.
making the NCAAT 4 times since the 13-14 season thru the 18-19 season is a improvement over the previous 11 years before Fran took over when Iowa went to the NCAAT JUST 3 times,,
Fran is entering 10th season with more talent on paper than has been at Iowa over 30 years ago. plus the talent is getting deeper, 6 now with who knows the next group will bring. this team should not lose a 4* player and loses just these 2 to graduation,

SR Kriener a career backup.

Cook signed a deal that makes a permanent member of their 15 man roster will play part of the season with the Nuggets and part of it with their G-League team, not to shabby
Marble just signed a exhibit 10 contract with Golden State, he will be a part of their roster this season [don't know much about a exhibit 10 contract]

Legit programs do not count the play in game. Programs that are just happy to make the NCAA find it just fine.
I actually hated when people included Beilein's play in win from 2016 in his NCAA record.
The play in game was awful. It was a weird zone between the NCAA and NIT.

SDSU should’ve won that game. A couple of costly turnovers helped Minny big time.
Yep, if that's not a freshman qb, it might've been a different story. I was really surprised by how bad Minnesota's lines looked.
Yeah Minny did not look good. They essentially won that game b/c of two turnovers that were pretty much unforced (shit snap caused the QB to throw a dumb pass, and a fumble on read option handoff).
only count it as it was a loss, otherwise Fran would be 3-0 in 1st rnd games but 0-3 vs #2 seed in the 2nd rnd games,
