*Official* 2017-2018 B1G In-Season Thread

It's beyond obvious that you don't get it.

I'd like to help you, but you act like a spoiled toddler when it comes to simple discussion.
You have to have a sparkling record non-con on top of not playing all turd games.. THEN, you still have to show-out in conference, esp if your conference is mostly garbage...
no you don't get it as Iowa was one of the youngest teams in the D1 and Iowa DID NOT LOSE to a dozen inferior teams like you claim. Iowa lost 15 games to BT Teams and just 4 OOC teams
SDSU a NCAAT team on at neutral site
ACC @ VT in the ACC vs BT challenge
@ B12 ISU
Louisiana at a Neutral site who went 27-7

and that is it like I said Iowa's top 5 scorers were these
SO Cook 15.3 ppg 28 mpg
SO Bohannon 13.5 ppg 31.8 mpg
FR Garza 12.1 ppg 21.7 mpg
SO Moss 11.1 ppg 24.2 mpg
FR Nunge 5.7 ppg 15.7 mpg

then these were next
SO Pemsl 5.7 ppg 16.4 mpg
JR Baer 5.3 ppg 21.4 mpg
SO Dailey 4.9 ppg 16.5 mpg
SO Kriener 3.6 ppg 10.4 mpg
considering there were 6 SO that got playing time with no SR's I have no Idea how you thought Iowa was/should dominate the teams they played.

the lone JR that returns suffered a broken finger on his shooting hand which did more to his confidence than the actual injury.

I'm on mobile coming back from a road trip, can someone find Q1/Q2 wins and Q3/Q4 losses for Big 10 teams MSU, OSU, Purdue, Michigan, Nebraska, and Penn St. Maybe Syracuse and ASU as well? I believe Nebraska had 1 Q1 win and no Q2 wins with multiple Q3 and Q4 losses... which is why they didn't make the tournament.

Nebraska was #62 in the BPI Rankings with a SOS of #58 all the metrics indicate that Nebraska should have been in the NCAAT. not by what a bunch of nobodies on a msg board.

with their made up numbers.

And not by a professional committee, you know, the one thing that really matters. There are criteria set, meet the criteria, not a made up metric used only by ESPN.

the RPI is a old metric that is going by the way side while the BPI is gaining more and more traction with the committee.

Whether the RPI is flawed and can be manipulated is not the argument. The committee placed high emphasis on RPI for quadrants. Nebraska did not meet the criteria set. You should go find the nearest community college and take logic and debate classes.

If BPI was the only metric used, Nebraska still would not have made the tournament after automatic bids anyway.

no it actually started out as being about Nebraska till these other made it about Iowa. these posters sure are obsessed with Iowa whether they want to admit or not RollLaugh
Haven't said a thing about Iowa, Iowa was a dumpster fire. I'm talking NCAA Tournament.

all the metric of the BPI put Nebraska in
#62 makes them in the field of 68.
SOS #58 another indicator of being in the field of 68
SOR #37 in the field of 68

SORRY but all the metric of being in the field of 68 was met.

Except for that pesky part about automatic bids for conference champions.

Listen Gil, I apologize for this argument not being fair. My job is being a software engineer, so using logic to solve problems is just part of day to day life for me. Your job as a fluffer, well, it doesn't require as much logic on a daily basis.

I didn't claim any of that, dillhole.

Didn't read any bull shit after that, either.

which = what 32 teams out of 68. now you are just grasping at straws.

Let’s do some simple math.

68-32=36

A lot of those 32 teams aren’t highly ranked. Maybe 10 are.

So 10+36=46. On average maybe the top 46 teams make the tourney.

#62 ranked Nebraska doesn’t fall right in now does it?

I did take logic and was the leader of the group and the debates. I could tear down the reason why Gun control would not work then turn around and embarrass those that were pro guns. on why gun control would work. debating is my strong suit. as is using logic when defending my opinion.

something you have no clue about. grow up little one and leave the debate to the grown ups.

better than teams 63 and below now doesn't it. your math is flawed as well as made up.

no matter how you slice it a 13-5 4th place BT is more deserving than a lot of teams from P5 Conferences [cough cough] SEC teams.

you are making up stats to prove your opinion, I am quoting stats that back up my opinion.

I will pay for handies for all adult males in your family if you find me mentioning Iowa while discussing why Nebraskaball scheduling kept them from the tourney..

I'll even throw in a 10 minute face - sit from the hottest of the bunch.

Offer void if you concluded "Iowa" from all Nebraska discussions.

Holy shit, hahahaha, what was that? I knew you weren't bright, but I had no idea about your mental illness, apologies.

keep trying stormie. oh wait she is 10X the woman you could ever hope to be, and I am not the one that brought Iowa into this discussion about how Nebraska got screwed by the selection committee.

68 teams in tourney. Fact
32 automatic bids. Fact
36 at-large. Fact

Please show me where I’m making stuff up.

If that counts for me too, I'm about to hack this board.
