Wow MSU missed their last 15 shots from the field. Would best Cuse 19 out of 20 times. Sucks this is the 1. But if people watched MSU all year they knew we weren’t true tithe contenders

MSU has lineup issues all season and Izzo could never figure it out. Beating up bad Big Ten teams masked that.

He had the players to do it. Horrific coaching from him

Ben Carter 23 mins?

Did you see him pass open the wide open look?

Sorry to change the subject but I have a question about Purdue playing Butler today. I thought they tried to avoid rematches in the opening weekend, is that not true anymore?

I thought they tried to avoid that. Could they not do that this year with locations and seeds?

They do with conference teams I know but saw this: Since the 2008 NCAA tournament (excluding matchups in the First Four), there have been 35 tournament games between teams that played each other previously in the same season. In 32 of those instances, the two teams played just once prior to Selection Sunday and the winners of the first matchups are 21-11 (.656) in the rematch.

Keep telling yourself that.

Purdue literally had every chance to show they were better and coughed up a 10 point lead at home lost at MSU and to an abysmal Wisconsin in the regular season. Another great chance in the BTT and lost that. At some point you have to win to say you are better.

Well they won the B10 regular season title AND beat you guys. Not hard to draw that conclusion.

If Purdue had won the B1G regular season title and had beaten MSU but lost in the 2nd round while MSU advanced and I said Purdue>MSU, I’d be laughed at. How is this different?

We had one chance against MSU and it was on the road.

No you wouldn’t. Do I really need to explain it to you?

Not for Purdue fans. They rely on moral victories.
