Is Lunardi ******ed?

MSU is a lock for Detroit and UM should be near a lock also now. He has neither in Detroit lmfao.

Both MI schools in Detroit and X/Cinci in Nashville or one of them in Pitt.

Detroit almost never hosts the NCAAS, and both MI schools will be top 4 seeds and yet none will be home?

But he has Kentucky as a 6 seed staying home in Nashville and sends Tenn as a 3 to Dallas?

What a moron.
I believe the committee goes down the seed line and tends to place teams in order based on the closest pod to their home location. Right now, most have Xavier, UC and Purdue ahead of both MSU and Michigan on the seed line and while it is close for X and UC, Detroit is closer than Nashville and Pittsburgh.

Because it is close, I could definitely see them shifting X to Nashville and flip one of Michigan or MSU to Detroit but that is far from guaranteed.

The committee also says it prioritizes top 4 seeds playing close to home.

I'd say MSU is 95% lock for Detroit and UM is 50-50. In reality, use your fvcking brains NCAA...both MI teams in Detroit, X and Cinci in Nashville and Purdue in Pittsburgh.

There is no diff between Nashville or Detroit for X and Cinci. So why punish local teams in MSU and UM who had really good years when you can make all 4 teams happy?

Purdue....just didn't win the the B1G or win the BTT. Odd team out right now. The committee has shifted seeds and rankings to get home teams staying home in the past.

I get what you are saying. I'm just giving the reason for why it's being reported as such. And Lunardi is far from the only bracketologist with at least one and sometimes both Michigan schools sent elsewhere.

Personally, I hope Purdue ends up in Pittsburgh. My brother lives there and it's just one hour further from Cincinnati for me. I'd be ok with Nashville too. Much better city to visit than Detroit IMO.

Yeah--I wonder if X and Cinci fans would rather visit Nashville or Detroit..hmmmm

Well Mark made an awful choice to commit to ILL in the first plac. That kid could be getting bench minutes on this MSU team...
Yeah, not really sure what the dad expected. He's pissed because he wasn't solely as the PG. Helicopter parent, big time.

He sucks, who cares

Plenty of freshman struggle and go on to have successful careers. The kid has barely played competitive basketball, and he certainly hadn't ever seen this level of competition. I'm betting a few years down the road he's a pretty solid player.

4 games ago, they did overcome 15% from 3 to beat Iowa.

Since then, theyve dump trucked 3 teams who went a combined 44-10 in conference play - 2 of those top 6 KenPom teams. So I think focusing on the Iowa game is kind of lol and silly.
I think a lot of things are silly. Like assuming I was "focused" on the Iowa game. If UM loses a that Iowa game do they all of a sudden suck? Nope. What it shows is variance and how few people understand variance. There is often little statistical data to support the grandiose claims made every day by the media. A few short months ago Arizona State was Gods gift to basketball and Hurley was planning a book tour. Ask yourself what the take on Michigan would be if they lost that opener to Iowa- crickets.

I think he is going to be very very good. Especially now that he will have a year to get to a program learn and practice for a year.
Man, I totally disagree. From what I saw this year, he has no shot and lacks the explosiveness and athletic ability to get to, and score, at the rim. Don't see it.

UM--just like pretty much every top team this year, can lose early or win it all.

The top 10 this year has been a revolving door.

UM will be a very tough out because they play elite D and don't turn it over. So if they have an off shooting night, they still have a good chance to win.
My point was the hype is just that. Coaches and teams being judged by a one and out tournament is a joke. Bottom line - Belien has a really good team that is unique and is playing really good defense. If they lose in the first round Belien still has a really good team that is unique and plays really good defense. It's a damn shame it will all come down to a flukey tournament to decide whether that team was good or not.

Conference tourneys are overrated predictors for NCAAT success but recency bias plays a large part

Well when you've actually won something, you're allowed to do this...:D I mean it's no more weird than you guys being vocal, while never having won anything..........

Just saying.

How old were you when iu won their last title? Just curious. Or Snu or klize?

That's a really silly argument given you were on here yesterday trolling Purdue fans.
Uh oh. Are your feelings hurt because he was trolling Purdue fans. After all, that stuff NEVER happens on these boards, like ever, from anyone.

You really should give this up. At least @klize17 is a skilled troll. You just look like a child desperate to be liked.

Having fun with a few of the good posters. You do not see me still trolling and worrying about it today do you?
Oh I know. And I had no problem with you trolling them yesterday. The post I responded to made it sound like you didn't feel the same about those trolling you today. Perhaps I'm wrong. Reading nuance is difficult on a message board for sure.

I am honestly curious. Are you thumping your chests about tournaments won before you were born. I am always told by you fellers Purdue’s dominance doesn’t count because it’s ancient history

Hmmmm

Well, there's a difference between your dominance in the early 1900s versus in the 70's/80's/early 90's. Yes, we haven't won anything major in a long time. It's MUCH, much more recent than the "dominance" you speak of...

Doubtful. It's so easy to get you all rustled. It's hilarious. Apparently you don't have thick enough skin to post here. Maybe you should head back to GBI...

So what is the cutoff for accomplishments we can brag about? I need to know

Snu accusing someone of not having thick enough skin is one of the more extreme examples of a big black pot calling a kettle black.
