Michigan shot 15.8% from 3 and 45.2% from the field but was 18-32 from the FTL
Iowa shot 30.4% from 3, 41.5% from the field and was 10 of 18 from the FTL.
I don't care what your thought on defense but holding Michigan with all their 3 point shooters to 15.8% from 3 is DAMN GOOD DEFENSE. and Michigan attempted 19 3's for the game and made 3.

VE, Mathias, and Carsen a combined 8-26 from the field and 2-10 from three. Not a winning combination.
Iowa did a good job of forcing those wide open misses. Things are trending up for them Gil, youve got a point man.
Carsen looks completely off his game right now. Like he's sped up or frustrated by helpside, something. He's usually much better. It might be the pressure Michigan's O hitting so many 3's is putting on Purdue's O.
B1G has 4 teams that could make the final four (as long as PSU doesn't make it and OSU doesn't have to play them). Michigan is pretty damn good. Firing on all cylinders
You can tell those early misses have impacted him, because there have been more than a couple times where he's had that 15-17' pull-up and has tried to get all the way to to rim instead.
True. I don’t even think this impacts your seed. Not the case for Michigan though. They should be a 3 seed imo.
Im surprisingly OK with this. Probably be in meltdown mode if MSU administered this ass beating but Ive known Michigan is a final four team for a while so its not a shock to me at all.
Theyll probably move up to top 5 in KenPom agead of both Purdue and MSU and 3 seed is their ceiling. Feel bad for whichever 2 seed gets unfortunate to draw them.

Duncan Robinson becoming a plus defender is possibly the most amazing development of Beilein’s time at Michigan
What might have been if Iowa got Belein instead of Lickliter. As I posted earlier, they were hired on the same day. Salt in the wound

Michigan recorded 3 wins this season which equals their entire win total in Fran's 1st 7 seasons
their 1st win of this season was the 1st since 2013 and seasons sweep was their 1st since Fran's 1st season in 10-11.

Its funny how all these great offensive players keep having off shooting nights vs Zavier Simpson. Almost like hes one of the 5 best defenders in the conference or something.
