Well, all things considered. you're talking to a guy who has yet to admit UNC , for 20 years, had a huge advantage over every D1 school. How can you expect him to admit the whistle was tainted in that game?
UNC controlled that game till Monk shot you guys back in it. We dominated the glass and thanks to you Luke Maye became a legend.
Calipari keeps Maxey in, did the same thing with Kahlil Whitney too.
I know why he does it, but we're almost 20 games in now. Freshman or not, at some point he has to realize hero ball doesn't work. It did in a couple of games this season, but he'll come down the court 4 or 5 times in the row, never pass the ball and jack up a dumb shot that ends up being the first pass in the other teams fast break, but not learn anything from it.
How is he a lottery pick? How is he even in the conversation for a 1st round pick? Potential? Whatever. We keep losing these guys after 1 year just because they have potential.
Oh well.
Very few players play well when they go back to play near their hometown. They always try to force it and end up playing like crap.
Hagans actually bucked that trend last year when UK went to UGA, but he's the only one I can think of that performed well in that situation.

This is the first time I've heard anything about bad officiating in that game. UL did more to lose that game than anything else.
Not sure if serious? We def didn’t help ourselves down the stretch but it wouldn’t have even been a close game if the refs had called it anywhere close to even the first 35 mins. The fouls in the first half that sent Harrell and then Hancock to the bench were a complete joke, but alas it’s ancient history, believe what u wanna believe. Thankfully our whipping boy UCONN makes it a pretty moot point anyways.
But I’m not trying to hijack the thread no more than the guy who brought up the 2017 unc/uk game, so carry on, and congrats on the win in lubbock.

Yes, but that shot only happened because the officials impeded the UK defenders on the possession. Basically told them if they tried to defend they would call a foul so that UK would lose. You can clearly see that if you are a UK fan.
