No 1 seed for Baylor

Once again shows you how strong the B12 is. That 81% should be looking better and better to you. We get to see a glimpse of how the conferences may fare against each other right off the bat as my Clones face LSU on Friday.
You are clearly an idiot.

Because you’re saying the metrics show that Tenn is better than Baylor. I haven’t seen any that have Tennessee ranked higher.
Tennessee- SOS 5
Baylor -SOS 12

Tennessee OCSOS 46
Baylor OCSOS 205

Tennessee quad 1 wins-11
Baylor Quad 1 wins 10

Tennessee Quad two losses zero
Baylor Quad two losses 1

Tennessee 26-7
Baylor 26-6

Tennessee net 7
Baylor net 5

Tennessee AP rank 5th
Baylor AP rank 4th

Tennessee beat UK which beat y'alls best team like a drum. That fact work for you?

SEC won Challenge
Come on….you really have been hanging around AuDoucher too much.

Transitive property? Really?

Even if we play that game, KU has three wins over teams that beat Tennessee, and Kentucky beat Tenn much worse the first time they played.

Too quick for you? I am guessing based upon your responses, that is no surprise to anyone on this board.
No, you bring in irrelevant information. You never try to defend your shit cause you can't and you don't try to refute my facts cause you can't, so you're an idiot.

Is that any different on claiming a two point loss on the road early in the season relates to how good a team is today? You really can't have it both ways.

Guys like you hate numbers because when they don’t support your narrative, you lose your mind

Or you can just ignore the facts because realization is too painful. Hey, whatever helps you get some sleep at night. I recommend melatonin.
You haven't brought facts and you can't refute mine. So, you're an Iowa st. fan. No wonder you're so goofy ISU has never been good at any sport.

Not trying to have it both ways. Your arguments are inconsistent and selective though.

There's no rational reason to dismiss the other set of games played. Early season means early season for both teams. Believe it or not, it's not only SEC teams that improve throughout the year. KU is a different team than when they played Kentucky, but I'm not trying to dismiss the loss.

If anything, the games played on neutral sites are more telling. Home teams generally win in the challenge, other than a few outliers.

I didn’t stutter the first time but just for you:

81%, 9-7, 67% of teams, two #1 seeds….you need to pay attention ;)

Yeah, you kinda were. UK beating Kansas bad at Kansas speaks to UT beating UK at home and neutral court. So, if you want to count one set of facts you can't dismiss the others. I would think games won on the road would be most telling.

Was the Baylor/TENN satisfactory for you?

Baylor is an illegitimate seed
The other is irrelevant

Who will you be pulling for after LSU kicks y'all's ass?

You know how those selection committees are. They are never as smart as the media, and armchair QBs. Btw, I like our chances.

If you don't like Kentucky fans acting high and mighty, you shouldn't pull that routine on Iowa St. Especially when your b-ball programs are pretty similar.

Iowa St actually has more tourney appearances and tourney wins in the last 10 years.

What is your cry baby deal? I did not anything to clone, he came into the thread attacking my position and then me personally. Do you think an SEC fan does not have the right to defend herself?

I have brought more pertinent facts to the table than he has with his history quest. Yet, you only seem to call strikes on me. Where is your righteousness concerning the other side of the argument?

Regardless, I wished Clone luck with his game and that is it.

You don't have to get so defensive. Was just making a point. Nobody's out to get you. 😁

I think Baylor is going to use all this disrespect for their cause and play really well now

True, so your winning % argument of the Big 12 is better due to an 81% win ratio is meaningless in determining Big 12 strength in relation to it's peers. The measurement requires a multivariate analysis

You make a broad statement about conference win %. I'm telling you winning % is only relevant to opponent strength. What is so hard for you to understand there?
I believe the league has an overall winning % head to head against every conference in the country. So it is relevant.

But it doesn't necessarily predict tournament success. I believe the same was true last year, but the conference performed poorly outside of Baylor. Likewise, the PAC performed very well, despite not performing well against other conferences during the regular season. The PAC though is filled with inconsistent but athletic teams that play down to their competition but sometimes play at a high level. They all turned it on at the right time last year.

Man...good luck. ISU's defense is no joke, but your offense on the other hand ..... struggles. You guys are capable of beating most teams if you have a night where you take care of the ball and shoot reasonably well. Your defense keeps you in most games and when you can do that, all it takes is a few shots to go in to pull off a W. Hopefully y'all can just play smart with the ball on the offensive end and not give LSU fast break opportunities. When KU went to Ames, you guys forced us into season high turnover numbers, but you gave us so many fast break opportunities being careless with the ball that it didn't matter. If you guys can play smarter with the ball and a couple of guys hit a hot streak, you might win a game or two.

LSU is the same yet different. They can be a tough out or a push over, just depends on their mood. They are very athletic though. LSU also fired it's coach, so how will that effect them? It should be a fun game.

After 2-22 & 0-18 last year, we are playing on house money. The ship has been righted in record fashion, and any wins are gravy. You are correct that our offense is horrendous.

Good news is that LSU's offensively challenged too. It's an interesting matchup of similar teams. LSU's just a little more athletic.
