Lmk when it comes out and I’ll gladly agree with you. Until someone can tie cal directly to recruiting violations with texts like self then he’s innocent till proven guilty

It's easy to say the same spiel over and over that "Oh everyone hates us and Cal and everyone is out to get us so if Kentucky did anything wrong we'd be busted already." What proof is there to that?
Or the classic "The NCAA hates us because we always get put in the hardest region NCAA tourney time (even your coach says it), the refs blatantly cheat us, etc etc."
That's all easy to say too, no?

Observation:
The whole “AAU shoe guy runner” thing seems to be a fairly new way to go about business and it really seems the one and done rule has brought these guys out of the woodwork. Let’s think back to around the time the OAD rule came into existence. All of a sudden “superteams” we’re going to Ohio State, Florida, Memphis, and Kansas State because the flood gates were open for guys like Greg Oden, Derrick Rose, and Michael Beasley when traditionally those guys would have just bypassed college. Eventually the rest of the market caught up to the new phenomenon and these guys were eventually steered back onto the more recognizable path of UNC, Duke, UCLA, Kentucky, Arizona and Kansas.
Now I’m not saying the problem is just restricted to these guys and schools. I still believe the traditional high roller win at all costs booster still exists and is dishing out $100 handshakes at basically every school that doesn’t play in a shoebox gym, but the big money that is steering the primary NBA talent from school to school came into play when the OAD rule came into play.

So that's why we lost Xavier henry, Wiggins, etc to KU. If UK is paying apparently other schools dish out more..
Remember...we started 1andDone...then everyone else had to do what they could to keep up. Its glorious watching every program crumblewhen theyve attacked ours relentlessly. I'm not worried about us..others have to cut corners when they cant keep up. Otherwise someone uncover the allegedly massive bank account that's paid for countless players for 8 months until they make guaranteed money...such a long time to wait....
Also obvious for uofl...uk recruits Montrezl Harrell...then he signs with uofl...why the hell would anyone do that..especially if UK pays players...uofl was opening that big pocket book.
Makes sense..ku probably just spends football money. Duke is private so who knows where they're moving money around...and of course uofl is the most overall corrupt school in history with their former AD and president..they were just shutting down school programs to pay for what they needed

Just an FYI, 2012 was just one year before 2013, is there a five year statute of limitations?
1. We know that's not true because the NCAA has proven to make up the rules as they go and are never consistent in their investigations/rulings/punishments.
2. Straight from the NCAA website:
Is there a statute of limitations for making allegations?
Yes. Allegations generally are based on violations that have occurred four or fewer years before the time an institution is notified of an investigation or an institution notifies the enforcement staff of violations. However, the enforcement staff may allege violations that have occurred beyond the four-year period if they involve (1) the eligibility of a current student-athlete, (2) a pattern of willful violations that began before the four-year window but continue into the four-year window or (3) a blatant disregard for certain fundamental rules (recruiting, extra benefits, academics, ethical conduct) or (4) an effort to conceal violations.
Kentucky always wants in the easiest region with the Louisville Cardinals so they are assured one victory at least.

So UK lands top 1-3 recruiting classes every single year, because they are able to find the best players in the nation who would rather spend their college career in wonderous Lexington than go to practically any other school in the nation, and get paid over 6 figures to go there. Get your head of the the sand.
And you mention the 8 months being sooooooo long to wait for the nba money. How much nba money is Josh Shelby, or Alex poythress, or Wayne Blackshear making. I’m sure all those guys thought for sure they would be one and done, but now no telling where they are playing overseas.
Like dude said if you think a program who has been busted in multiple decades for cheating, hired the sketchiest coach for bending the rules at the time, and then decided to be totally clean, you are either naive as they come or the ultimate homer. Not to mention after the natty in 2012 the entire up team walked right past calipari to hug William Wesley, good ole uncle Wes lol I’m sure he’s clean too. And there’s a Nike trial coming, I’ll bet as much as your comfortable with that uk is implicated.

I just find it to be a bunch of crap that UNC has lost all these recruits because we weren't playing these dirty games and the NCAA ran a sham witch hunt against us while all this was going on. Beginning to feel maybe they were just covering for all the shadiness going on. I feel some sort of restitution should be provided. At least an apology to Roy or something.

Writers like Pete Thamel (ever heard of him?) That dude was on a mission to 'destroy' UK Basketball....until that mission was a complete failure because nothing existed to support him.
Pat Forde....trashed UK so much he was suspended from covering anything related to UK by his bosses.
Jeff Goodman.... pretty much has done what Forde was doing over the years and now is on the outside looking in as far as media that can actually get time with Cal or any of the players.
Dana O'Neil....another detractor....in same boat w/Goodman.
Michael Wilbon....openly trashed all of BBN on Pardon the Interruption.
NCAA bracket results....far too many instances to go over. If you don't see where UK was screwed repeatedly by the committee, you're blind or stupid... hell, maybe both.
