***NBA Playoffs: Finals Thread***

I’d be totally shocked if the warriors don’t win it again. Just totally unfair to have 4 all stars on one team. I can’t see any team beating them 4 games to win the series. I think they sweep Cleveland or Boston in the finals.

But Malone’s Jazz would beat them amirite?

Both MJ and Lebron couldn’t beat the warriors. Didn’t Golden State sweep Lebron and the Cavs last year? That was with Kyrie Irving. If Lebron wins the title this year, then he deserves to be up there tied with MJ. But I don’t see that happening.

Lebron May be the better overall player than Durant but I actually think KD is a better scorer.

The Warriors play beautiful basketball but I despise them. Really enjoyed their 2015 playoff run and season but ever since then I’ve began to really dislike them.
I can't say I despise him, but it is funny watching Kerr sit back and smile like nearly any coach in America could not do what he's done.

Cavs took a game. Blew them out in fact. Another 2 games GS won that could have gone either way.

The Cavs were also better last year because they had Kyrie.
Maybe....does Boston look to be struggling without him?

Hard to know how a completely new roster will stack up against GS. I suspect Green would be a big piece that could help them, as he can switch onto all 5 positions, which you need to face GS. Kyrie cannot.

My guess is they are better off having Kyrie than not, but it looks like they are might get by Toronto the same without him as they did with.

They are getting by Toronto easily but let’s be real, the east is garbage. Cavs are a good no doubt but the team that comes out of the west will likely win it all due to being more battle tested. And for sure you’d rather have Kyrie than not when facing the warriors.

We are not being real saying East is garbage. It's an opinion. Just as possible no one in the West is worth much other than Houston or GS.

Yes, we'd rather have Kyrie added to this team rather than not. But who knows how all the new pieces fit as opposed to how they played them last year with Kyrie?

Maybe Boston can get there (and they might) so GS could face another team down a star or 2.

I kid, I kid GE.

Ugh wtf is with these early tip offs on the week days?? Can’t even get home and relax for a little before I miss 3 quarters of the first game tonight.

Better than the late night tips. Who the hell stays up till 1 am to watch a conference semifinal game. I’m he first game should always start around 6 leaving time to watch the second game.

wish they could do something about the long layoffs. Think I saw Cavs/Bos plays Tuesday, then Saturday? WTF?

Warriors over Rockets in 6
Cavs over Celtics in 7
Agree with GS. wont pick series/games with my team involved, but think if the Cavs win it's in 5-6. Tough to win a game 7 in Boston.

Don't see them getting it done in 5, maybe six. This Celtics team isn't the Raptors and they certainly don't fear LBJ the way the Raptors do. At this point, I wouldn't bet against LeBron in a game seven unless its at Golden State again.

Mostly agree, though AS OF NOW, against the Cavs the Celtics are Toronto.

Not sure how Stevens didn’t receive a single vote for coach of the year. Not one. It’ll be like Lebron not winning the MVP. There is no more valuable player than Lebron in the world.

Yeah didn't understand that. I still felt Snyder should have won, but I felt Brad should have received some votes. He lost his star player on opening night, went on a 10+ game win streak and then lose Irving and are one step away from the NBA Finals. Who else could have done that with his roster?

Yeah, no issue with Snyder and other coaches. I’ll roll with Stevens though. He isn’t void of talent out there, but they are young. Like I’ve always maintained, this is such a great thing for this team and it’s future. The Celtics are playing bonus ball now. I fear Lebron is going to be too much.

Seriously. Lebron should be the mvp every year. He's been by far the biggest difference maker since as far back as his second season.

You won’t get an argument from me with any of that. Lebron is incredible.
