Nasir Little and Zion will be the best frosh duo since....?

I mean, neither of them are terrible. They both just have some definite deficiencies. They both have strengths as well. Are they enough to make a nice run in March? Remains to be seen.

As for Duke beating UNC by 20? Possibly. It is also possible, or maybe even probable, UNC goes farther in the tournament.

But he's a walk-on man. That should make you feel good.
He had an offer from your Alma mater and ND but chose to walk on because he's a legacy. Not exactly the same thing.
UNC has played a tough schedule so far or is that counting the fact that they have to play Duke twice and have a difficult conference schedule coming up? Im not hating or anything but who has UNC beaten? A Notre Dame team without their 2 best players... By 1... That's about it.

You're hating but it's all good. The numbers don't lie but we have a tough schedule remaining but so far that statement is accurate.

I think they have played six currently ranked teams (so basically every third team has been ranked), and other decent teams like Stanford and Arkansas, then the crappy teams they have played have been teams like Bucknell and Northern Iowa and Davidson. What helps their SOS is probably that they have played few really bad teams, though they lost to one of them, lol.

I'm really not, I don't think UNC has played the toughest schedule in the country... And in your opinion what is the best team that they've beaten?

They probably haven't, though SOS is not dependent on who you have beaten just who you have played. They probably have played a tougher schedule than the top teams if you look at overall strength though. It really doesn't matter much when you play in the ACC or another top conference though. At the end of the year they all will have played a tough schedule.

They beat Tennessee at their place, Ohio St on a neutral floor who beat Michigan St who beat us. Also beat Clemson and ND. Again that’s not a gauntlet but as of right now it’s ok.

Yeah good point.

There's nothing gay about trolling the **** out of Kentucky fans.

A UVA fan thinking he can troll UK is laughable... make the final four once this century ... or even the last 30 years before you dare think you’re at the big boy table

Yeah good point.
What Cory said.

SOS doesn’t equal best team. It doesn’t matter who they beat. Duke has a harder SOS last year in the ACC which is why they finished 5th in the ACC but got a 2 seed.

In addition to the games Cory listed, UNC has gone on the road to UVA and FSU. I think they only have 2 home ACC games in a row. This is the problem of an unbalanced schedule.

Need to see if he even gets cleared to play, he was going to Arizona before the FBI busted his handler.

Lies! Damned lies! Fans have been telling us for years that they lose recruits because Ole Roy doesn’t deal with handlers!

He and his father did sign legal affidavit's saying the contrary to the FBI allegations against Miami regarding Little's recruitment. That would be a big risk to take on your career and family just to help try and kill allegations from the FBI towards a school you aren't even going to attend. Logical optics are that the kid and his father are on the up and up.

I'm not sure what ripthru's comments about handlers has to do with anything anyway. It makes no sense.

When they lost to Wofford, their SOS went up lol....

I don't know some of you are so obsessed with UNC's schedule. I'm bored though so if a UK fan or Duke fan or something wants to compare the two because it means so much to you we can certainly do that. That means you would have to probably stop talking about it though so I would guess not.

IMO sos is somewhat irrelevant because your ACC schedule mean that after all is said and done you have played a tough of schedule as anyone in the country

Oh, no doubt. Duke, UNC, and UK will all play really tough conference schedules this year for sure. It just seemed people, a couple of Duke and UK fans at least, were saying UNC hasn't had a tough schedule. That's fine but if so they must really feel that way about their own teams. I've always found the schedule argument kind of silly tbh.

Duke, UK , UNC, and KU will always play the toughest schedules no matter what the SOS says....... Every team they play devotes weeks of practice time to just beat them because beating a blue blood will make their season. Our schools always gets teams best against us.

You know Kentucky better than I do, obviously, but I think you’re underselling MKG. Elite winner. I’d take him on a team over Booker any day.
Nothing against MKG but Booker is an assasin. I’ll take him in the current state of the NBA every time.

No excuses.

Anything short of a 38-2 season capped off with a title win will be a big disappointment.

Many ranking sites have Carolina at or near #1 in their Strength of Schedule rankings.
