It's harder to win 20 games when you schedule quality OOC and play in the best conference in America (Big Ten), compared to leagues with a weak middle and bottom like the ACC, Big XII, or SEC for example.

Any time Ohio St etc wants to come play in Lubbock just let us know.

Impressive for Kansas. Embarrassing for Kentucky and the entire B1G.
Nah, that has more to do with the conference wanting to project a certain image that it is a rough and tough contest, and their officials are encouraged to call games as such.

Thus, the teams within the conference do more to hurt themselves/each other and hold each other back than anything else.

That's why I'm surprised by the amount of "conference" honking us Big Ten fans are doing this year, because we tend to be more cannibalistic and individualist by nature..........

That's a misleading comment. It should say only four teams have a current streak of 3 years. Duke had a much longer streak up until a few years ago.
I understood it so it must not have been that misleading.

Just wanted to point out that Kansas has won atleast 25 games in each of the last 15 seasons.

Also, they’re lowest win total in any of the last 30 seasons is 23 wins.

I think Duke’s consistency is just as impressive going back 35 years. They just had the one bad year in the mid 1990’s.

Kentucky has to play in a competitive conference not the little 12.
3 ACC teams have a longer streak than Kentucky. Duke has doubled them up. 6 ACC teams have the same or longer streak than the second place team in the SEC and 9 ACC teams have the same or longer than the 3rd longest in the SEC.

None of you guys had Gillespie drunkingly patrolling the sidelines though.
I think if you take his dumb ass away UK is at like 27 or 28. From Pitino's second year on.

Ehh... SOS not factored into "20 win seasons", so not all 20-win seasons are equal.

MSU has made the tournament for 22 straight years, following only Kansas and Duke. I believe MSU's 22 seasons (and Kansas' current 30, Duke current 24) is also the 4th longest all-time.

28 out of 29, all since 1990-91 and all with their 3 good head coaches during that time (Pitino, Tubby, Cal). UNC had Matt Doherty, but he was at UNC longer ago than Billy G was at UK, so I guess that's embarrassing for UK (and by extension UK fans on here), or something? Same for K's back issues that happened in the 1990s. So congratulations on having > 20 wins in every season with your HOF coach, just like UK.

But man, that KU streak! Glad to see that KU is still good at streaking to... *checks notes... one title in 30 consecutive years of 20 or more wins.

It was a fishing expedition and it took a whole day before I got a bite from Bert. All good streaks come to an end. That doesn't tell the whole story.

Amazing KU just shows up. They are way too good to not win more.
