In the court of law....... wire taps and evidence are taking into account with more belief than a testimony during the trial. Why? because during a wire tap people dont know they are being tapped........ during a trial... people have time to make up lies.
When it came to the KU staff there was no wire tapping. Just text messages with no context given to the messages. Just left to a person's own conjecture on them. That's a pretty common practice of a defense to create doubt. There was a phone message involving Townsend over Zion submitted but not allowed into evidence so it was never actually heard or the full text ever released. In the end It's a going to be who do you believe and who don't you believe. There really isn't good evidence either way in this trial. I see the jury giving a not guilty judgement for this trial.
