So, it’s obviously happening, but some have been exposed some haven’t? Ks hasn’t done anything any other program hasn’t waded into. Knowingly. Half knowingly. Or oblivious bystander wise.
They did. 22 Vision based out of KY. Reports last May were that Adidas came to the aid and put money into 22 Vision in order to keep Langford with Adidas as Langford was open to moving to different shoe affiliated AAU team if 22-Vision couldn't be financed. Don't really see anything illegal there though.

Yeah... nothings gonna come from that........ Like I've said before... its a loop hole that everyone knows should be shut down.

Whether or not players should be paid is a different discussion ....as long as its not ok for players to take money........ then loop holes should be shut down. You telling me Josh Jackson's momma is qualified to run an AAU program...... etc?
I never agreed with programs hiring family members of recruits just to get their commitment. (Yes, I realize Calipari has done it). IMO, if you're going to hire so-and-so and this person is affiliated with a blue chip recruit, that kid should be ineligible to play at that program. If the kid's dad is the HC or an assistant, yeah, I get that. I'm talking about hiring these dudes to bullshit positions within the program (director of basketball operations and what not). That's a fancy title that means I don't really do shit but sit back and collect a paycheck for delivering my kid on a silver platter. Seems odd to me that once these kids move on to the pros or wherever else that job ends for the relative around the same time, too. Must just be coincidence....
who believes Papa Porter was hired due to his coaching skills at Wash and Missouri?
Or that Michael Beasley, Bill Walker, and Wally judge just really wanted to play in Manhattan KS out of the blue yonder.

Yes, it's nice to see a player mature and get better over 3-4 years. But, I want the one and dones. We are lucky enough to be one of the major schools that can recruit them. I want the best possible players playing basketball for my school. It's more media coverage for the school, more excitement in the off-season during recruiting periods. Good players want to follow good players. I am all about the one and done, but this is a NBA rule, which is most likely changing very soon, so we won't have too many of them anymore in the near future.

Are you the type of person that unless someone is on video committing the crime...he should be let go? Do you think O.J was innocent? Because, I honestly can't understand how anyone can say with a straight face that he could have possibly not known. So, I'm trying to figure out if you're stance is because you're a fan, or if you're the type of person who is this naive?
Only a homer, or a complete fool could honestly say they think Kansas is clean. But don't get me wrong, unless the NCAA is going to hit all the programs where it's blatantly obvious that there's cheating going on, its unfair to punish only this handful of teams.
Im def saying for any team to be punished there has to be clear cut proof---not read b/t the lines proof. Im also a guy that thinks 98% of coaches and schools know how the system works and they just personally insulate themselves from it. Yes, I think Kansas' coaching staff knows how the process works. Do they know or care about the exact details or inner workings---probably not---and wouldn't want to even if the information was provided to them.
