Definitely seems like we're seeing better effort on D today. But my goodness is it hard to watch our offense. Just pitiful.
I’m not sure if we’re seeing good defense or bad offense. Right now the rim seems to be the POTG.

We’re missing Malik Williams (back in late January/early February) our starting senior center, and grad transfer Charles Minlend( any day now) out of San Francisco who’s gonna be a huge help for depth and scoring.
Askew has a lot of potential. Needs to let the game come to him. I remember watching some summer practices where askew was playing with our team last year. He’ll develop and be a sold point, just needs some time. I don’t get the hate with that kid tbh.
Nobody on either team has more than 1 foul, which only means one thing. Time for the zebras to shine in the 2nd half!

I think because the fans have talked so much about it, we've willed it to NOT be so. Keep it up and maybe the 2nd half will go the same as the first hopefully!
All of our guys have potential. The "hate" comes from us being tired of seeing that potential blossom in the NBA and never when they are here. Glimmers happen in a few months and then they're gone.
If we KNEW these guys would be back, **** yeah I'd still be pissed off at where we are and how we look, but I could be more patient knowing that we would be getting dividends paid out. Right now we get zero return on investment.
I can't speak for the other UK fans on here, but I absolutely give zero ****s about the NBA, so what they do there doesn't do a thing for me. Its nice and all, but I absolutely do not care at all.
Nice back and forth. This game has been a lot better than I expected. Second half the defense from both teams has turned up.

If EITHER team could shoot worth beans, it would be a blowout. Kids are playing hard tho!

Both teams have solid pieces. Our turnovers suck but I’m not mad at our defense this game.
Man, this is just terrible ball by both teams. Whoever wins, neither of us have much to be proud of. This is supposed to be the best game in college basketball every year. A showcase. Instead we've got an inept circus.
This currently feels like the stretch where we look back and say "that's where we lost the game."
