Kansas vs Kentucky

Still better than politics
No doubt.
I guess I'm just surprised, we all know exit ***ger is a douche, but the other KU fans on this board are… were solid posters.
UK fans catch hell on here because, apparently, we start shit, but this thread is a perfect example of what happens quite often here.

Jeez, I thought Auburn fans were jackasses. I thought KU fans had some class, boy was I wrong.
This has turned into a really dumb pissing contest.

Every Kentucky thread turns into a dumb pissing contest. Hm. Common denominator?

Is "classy" the word you'd use to describe the Kentucky fans on Rupp Rafters or in this thread?

Looks like you only pay attention to the threads created to rile UK fans up. There's never a complimentary thread about UK or Calipari on here.
So tell me again about this common denominator.

When people talk about KU choking (including you), they're not talking about their record in national title games. They're talking about losing a game they're heavily favored in.

Indiana hasn't exactly fared well in the years in which they got a high seed in the modern era (which, granted, hasn't been often).
Modern era---SOme say 1984 when tourney expanded to 64.

1984: IU was 4 seed----Elite 8; beat heavily fav UNC in SW16
1986: 3 seed...Lost 1st round
1987: 1 seed----Won title
1988 4 seed---lost 1st round
1989: 2 seed---lost to 3 seed Seton Hall SW 16
1991: 2 seed---lost to 3 seed KU in SW 16
1992: 2 seed---lost in FF to 1 seed Duke
1993: 1 seed---lost in Elite 8 to 2 seed Kansas
1994: 5 seed---lost in SW 16 to 8 seed Boston College

As a 1 or 2 seed,IU never failed to reach the SW 16. Never lost in the SW 16 to someone they were heavily favored over. As a 1 or 2, never lost in the 2nd round.

In 2002 IU was a 5. Advanced to the title game
In 2012---as a 4, lost to #1 UK in the SW 16
2013 makes me sick---But still, advanced to the SW 16.
2017 as a 5, advanced to the SW 16.

As you said, and I agree---IU with not as many opportunities. BUT---when they had them, more often than not, they didn't piss them away...

Dude, it ain't even close....

In a wacky event like March Madness, the more often you're a top seed, the more chokes you'll have. Look how many chokes K and Wright have.

To you guys, it's apparently better to have a crappy all-around season than to have a great year that ends a little early.

Lol brother 48 tourney appearances for KU with a 107-49 record and only 3 titles but 15 final fours LOL not to to mention your 3-6 record in title games...that’s a 33% winning percentage compare that to UKs 8-4 record and a 66% winning percentage....

Kansas basketball summed up in a few sentences...at least you have naismith

Duke and UNC, yes. Kentucky, no.

An AP #1 finish is significant when something bizarre like Covid wrecks a season. KU has finished the year #1 as many times as Kentucky in the modern era. Simple as that.

I know, I know...you don't care about conference titles (but you guys sure celebrate when you win your crappy league), but do you care about wins? 100+ more wins in a 35-year period is kinda significant.

By your logic, Uconn is better than your program over the last 25 years, Florida and Nova are better this millennium, and UCLA is easily the best program of all time. But you don't believe any of that, do you?

As usual, you're like a bunch of spoiled children who need mommy to tell them they're the bestest at everything.

It's pretty funny that you're whining about arbitrary timeframes, yet it's you guys who are...using arbitrary timeframes. "Last 30 years. Last 32 years. My lifetime."🤣
Finished the year #1 more than UK and still has less titles in that 1980-1985 timeframe LOL

most consider when the 3 point shot came into existence as the "modern era"
that is what changed CBB as we know it today
expanding the tourney never really changed much
top 4 seeds still win most of the titles

And why do you think that happens?

Could it be because your fanbase is full of d-bags (particularly on Rafters) that trash anyone and everyone? Could it be you're also thin-skinned and overreact to say, someone calling the Cats "Kitties?"

There are at least as many jabs taken at UNC, Duke and KU. Difference is, you don't see their fans crying about it like children.

I am too, And about last year...you guys probably would’ve lost in the first 3 rounds in classic fashion like you have a ton this decade.

And Cal will probably never win another title at his current pace. Guess we should both throw in the towel?

Btw, even with the chokes, KU is in the elite 8 every other year and in the final four every 5 years.

That's pretty good. Last 12 years we're in the Elite Elite every 1.5 years, Final Four every 3 years, and National Title game every 6 years.

Idk why you guys are surprised. Toonces has been the only good KU poster here since I started posting in 2012. The rest are trash homeboard posters.

KU wins by 7-10 pts. Our offense will struggle.
I haven’t seen one good UK poster. All trash home board posters that are raft-tards

Okay let’s try this again since UK fans are a little sensitive and insecure. Had no idea how easily trolled they are.

You guys any good this year? Cats by 90 right? No way Ku wins?

I think its going to be a really, really good game. I think most, sensible UK fans, know this. And have learned to temper their expectations----after Duke beat them by 650.

87 works for me... 👍
