Just tested positive for covid!

If it was gonna happen I guess the opening week of college basketball would be ideal. Good luck to everybody this year. I’m ready to shit talk and make excuses!!!

Opening week when there are 4 games worth watching all week? No, ideal time for Covid is march madness duh.

Hows ur son doing??
He’s doing pretty good man. Still going to physical therapy a couple times a week and working his ass off. He still has a long ways to go but he’s digging in and ready to work. We went back for a check up in Nashville about a week and a half ago and they said it’s still way too early to tell what will happen. Really appreciate you asking about him. Thanks man!

You're a good dad Scotty and it seems like he's motivated to get better. Says a lot about you and him.

Everyone's gonna get it eventually anyway. It's here to stay, just like the flu. You may not catch it this year, but there is always next year, or the year after that, etc.
Yeah but its a nothing burger if you're vaccinated besides very rare outliers. If you're young and reasonably healthy but unvaxxed, its probably not going to be a huge deal if you get it but why take that risk?

I know some non fat/young/non-immunocompromised young folks who were unvaxxed and actually got seriously sick from COVID and a few were hospitalized.

This mask shit needs to die though; they don't offer full protection and make it really difficult to communicate.

I live in ultra liberal Arlington, VA and you see a ton of people (mostly young and middle aged white women) walking their dogs outside by themselves with a mask on or driving in a car with one. Its absurd.

I can't wait till I don't have to wear masks anymore in Ubers or airports.

Only Hail would call someone out on the exact dates they had Covid. Nothing says "gotcha" like when you catch a guy saying he had Covid 8 months ago when really it was 12.

It’s not meant to be a gotcha moment. I just recall it being pretty recent so when he said 8 months I was confused. It’s a weird thing to mistake (having covid back in March of this year vs September of this year)

Not weird at all. I deal with clients all day long who get confused by the exact dates or even years that they had injuries or treatment. Happens more often than it doesn't. Also, Covid can last a long time so someone might test for it in September and then have symptoms for 6 months or more. September to the next March might all blend together.

I hope it is a mild case and you recover quickly.

No, he was here saying he tested positive for it September 2021 (2 months ago). To mistake that for March 2021 by saying “I tested positive 8 months ago” is weird. No big deal just a weird mistake. Not as weird as your white knighting over a tiny comment I made, but still weird.

There are a few really intriguing matchups this week. Overall, pretty modest. It probably won't fill your whole day.

I might prefer to stay home when all of the preseason tournaments collide.

Thanks Della! I’m still convinced the loss to UT Saturday set all this in motion😂
Well, I'm feeling a little guilty I had to give that order, but sometimes there is a little collateral damage in battle. No hard feelings.😊

I had it in jan and don’t truely remember if it was jan 2020 of jan 21 lmao. I did get ejected from a vehicle since then and had a bad concussion to go along with by drain killing drug habits 🤷‍♂️

Now ive found out ive got Alpha——— the disease you get from ticks where u cant eat red meat or any type of mammal. Just birds and fish fml. Def rather have covid again, granted i was lucky and asymptomatic back in january of 202? Jk it was 2020 before the varients.
