He was G League Coach of the Year last year. I heard his name as a possible candidate for some NBA head coaching jobs but don’t know how close he ever got to actually being hired.

My uninformed opinion is that he’s headed to a tough place to coach and it’s an absolute dumpster fire right now. If they give him time and he adjusts then maybe it can work out, but it’s going to be tough. Kind of risky to hire a guy with no college coaching experience so we’ll see.
