I have gotten my ass kicked so bad these last couple of days, I would give up.

I am ready to move back to the city.

I litterallt might have to wait until Sat or Sunday to get my trucks out. Urgh

I pray my buddy with a bucket can get me out.

The problem is these freezing temps. It makes the snow impossible

My property taxes are zero. Thank goodness for living on an Indian Reservation.
I think I'll stick to paying my taxes. From what I've seen, I want zero part of living on a reservation. Maybe that is all TV non-sense though.

Two trucks stuck. Plow got stuck. Broke my tow chain. Broke my hitch off on one of the trucks. Can't leave my house.

Fvck this. These snow drifts are like concrete.

Where at? When I first moved to Denver, I drove from MI and Iowa / Nebraska were a winter wasteland. Huge snowdrifts on the sides of the hwy, even some spots where the wind blew them onto the highway. You're going 70mph and then all of a sudden the 2 lanes turn into 1 because of a huge snowdrift covering half the hwy.

Yep. Flat lands of eastern Iowa. It's not even snowing and the drifts are 10 times worse.

The hospitals are pitiful, admittedly. Most of the houses are run-down here, too. But we just recently built a new house (2700 sq feet with the garage - posted pictures in the thread with pics of board members). Probably not the nicest place to live, but there are lots and lots of perks that my wife gets, like gaming money from the Casino which goes to all enrolled member. It's enough money to pay for roughly 75% of the mortgage costs in the span of the year.

Casinos would have me in trouble with the wife by the end of the month. Laughing

lol yup. I know a lot of people can't handle it. This one lady I worked with didn't go home to her family for several days, she was at the casino, and she told a few of us if her husband comes by mention that she had to go out of town for a last-minute work conference (she had a serious problem). I live only 5 minutes away from the casino, but fortunately I've never had much of an interest in gambling.

My brother in law just dukes of hazzard the lane. Lol. He came from 200 yards at 50mph. Wow

I have never lived though that.

My worst year was west of Baltimore, MD. 57" of snow. But it was not that cold. Most things did not break. My biggest problem was paying for someone to plow a quarter mile drive way.

Shoveled yesterday morning, went to work, then had to shovel again this morning. Cotdam global warming. Al Gore, you sunuvabich.
His degree was in political science, not real science.

I am a chemistry major with a minor in physics.

Guys like me are stupid.

Al Gore is bright.

Without global warming you would be dead.

You guys might need need more forms of entertainment out in Iowa.
That's just making the best of a situation. In 2011, we had a two day rain total of 26 inches. We were sweeping water out of our living room. A buddy of mine came by in his enduro and bet that he could drive it through the ditch in the front yard. Which was at least 6ft. He didn't make it. We had to pull it out of the ditch in the pouring rain, figured we were already wet, so proceeded to doing cannonballs in the ditch.
