If Anyone but Trump Were Elected POTUS

How is that not sustainable? The rich are going to automate out the lower class. It won't be sustainable if you're poor, but if you're rich, you won't be negatively affected one bit.
You answered your own question.

You're ignoring 4 years of his presidency. The numbers you're citing are from 2013. Obama’s tax policies increased the non-1-percenters’ share of income more than any president since perhaps FDR.

Meanwhile, the Trump administration is considering forcing through an executive order that would give the rich a tax break on capital gains (you know since his first tax break for the rich didn't provide that). He is simply creating a system to line his pockets before he is voted out.
Correct me if I am wrong. But it seems that they are crediting him for increasing taxes on the rich. That's why they are using the after taxes graph. But it says nothing about lower and middle classes improving, unless I am missing that.

Did you see LeBron on Don Lemon last night? Credit where credit is due, he didn't only talk about politics. I think it is great what he is doing for at risk children in the inner city. But he made the comment that Trump is using sports to racially divide the country. I mean who better to talk about racially dividing the country than someone who lied about being a victim of racism?
What lie?

Our President is dividing the country further, and when a sport is involved, it has a pretty significant racial angle.

There is so much funny out there and these pathetic losers choose to waste their careers obsessing over politics. Sad.

Oh, LeBron. You slay me.

For real! Lack of creativity and imagination, if you ask me. They're pandering to the liberal base, and I suppose it generates decent ratings. So they're going to keep doing it.
Its just so mindless. Even Trump haters have to be like enough is enough--

Did he really lie about being a victim? Has that been proven?
I don't know how feasible it would be to prove he lied without him openly admitting it. But we can use our common sense to come to the conclusion that he lied.

First click on google. Maybe something has come out since? Not sure.

"Los Angeles police were called to LeBron’s house at 6:44 AM on the morning in question. LeBron and his family were not at the house. When police arrived the gate had already been repainted and they were allegedly provided with a photo.

The surveillance camera taking footage of the home’s front entrance was not working. The alleged photo has never been released as evidence"

Dattier is trying to divide this board even further with identity politics, which has a pretty significant racial angle, if you ask me.

Is he dividing the country thru sport? Or is he standing up for the anthem and all the years it has been respected? He didn't make the anthem about race.....who did? Who actually introduced race into the anthem?

It's in relation to sports and affects athletes, the majority of whom are black.
Sports and politics have intermingled for a century or more.
The President doesn't need to weigh in on it, particularly as unhinged and extreme as he did.
Claiming he is standing up for the anthem as if it's under some attack or threat is ridiculous.
As long as there are people of color, any discussion of the anthem and July 4th and patriotism contains elements of race unless you are leaving out or silencing people. That we have fixed so many things about our racist history doesn't mean it retroactively doesn't exist.

I think it would be baffling if the president of our country didn't stand up for the flag and national anthem. The media sources made sure they talked about it each and every minute they could...why wouldn't the president of our country weigh in on our national anthem and respecting the flag---both time honored things that a handful of people decided to try and make into something they aren't. You forgot to answer who brought race into the national anthem?

The graph is simply saying that those who aren't part of the 1% increased their share of income (after tax) more than any other president, and that you're lining the 1%'s pockets any time a republican is in office, except when the good Bush was in office.

..Ad Hominem..

His incorrect grammar doesn't invalidate his point.
Many of his points ring true and I agree with some of them myself...but it's always a solid idea to sound like you have completed junior high when trying to talk about other peoples lack of education.

I don't disagree, but his speech is a product of his culture and identity. We expect people to adhere to the rules of grammar, but the message is more important. You understand what he's saying perfectly fine and would rather attack how he says it.

You all are republicans aren’t you? I meant I wasn’t just singling him out, but now that you put it that way, sure. The flag huggers/humpers have struck down their mighty staff.
I identify as anti-liberal. But I can't shake the accusations of being a republican. So, sure.

But as stated, there was no outrage, it was being discussed in context.
