Hey Kansas, take notes on how to handle Iowa St

Iowa’s 5-5 in their last 10 vs Iowa St.

Poor Iowa fails even when they cherrypick categories. It’s pretty hard to sugarcoat their astounding mediocrity.

You want I should share Kansas State's record in the last 10 meetings with Iowa State?

At least we've won 4 of the last 5 and can actually beat them when ranked.......

But lol you already knew that. Laughing

You can do more with corn. Therefore: Iowa > Kansas State

Also, ISU is 6-4 (or 7-4) in their last 10 vs K-State, including two wins over ranked Wildcat teams the last few times they've played ISU as a ranked opponent........

Just sayin. SmokinSmile

You losers of the Plains

Little brothers are always little and you treat them that way.

You’re a real idiot. Iowa b-ball is as mundane as it gets - has a good team this year that’s it. ISU has been to more elite 8’s and sweet 16’s than you guys and haven’t they owned you the last 15 years?

Big 10 has the longest drought of all P6 leagues for natties. It’s the league that always has a bunch of good teams but no elite. Texas Tech tossed Sparty in the final four the last time there was a final four. TECH. Sparty is your best program. Lol.

Wisconsin, Michigan, MSU have been to the Final Four multiple times in the last 20 years. Illinois and Ohio State have made it as well. Iowa owns the head to head record vs ISU and has more elite 8s and Sweet 16's and has won the last few games head to head

ISU- 2

Iowa-4
ISU- 2

The Big 10 has been represented in 8 of the last 10 Final Fours.

We gave the B1G Nebraska...

Addition by Subtraction.
Worst Basketball Program in the Country

Hasn't even won a single NCAA Tournament Game.

Northwestern isn't doing much better
Neither is Penn State

A lot of junk in the B1G. What happens when you have so many members.
At least Rutgers is pulling themselves out of that.

I didn’t know Iowa had those runs in the tourney. That’s how I probably view your program as a result. ISU I know had a good run on you guys for a decade, but looks like you’ve won the last couple. Still looks like ISU has been the winner over the last 10-12 years.

And, OK great on the tourney appearances, but still Longest draught of natties in the P6. Big 10 is a great b-ball league. No one is questioning that. But it’s always a lot of good teams and no elite teams. Look at Illinois, Iowa, Sparty and Wisconsin this year. Can these teams get to a FF and hang a banner? I’m saying no. Sparty maybe. Your Michigan’s of the 90’s were ELITE. Couple of those Buckeye teams I felt had what it took. We beat an elite one in 2012 to get to the natty game. That Wisconsin team a few years back probably could or should have won one I’ll admit. Sparty has had some close to elite teams. But Last title was what, Like Michigan state 2000?

Sparty had Its best team of the last decade get beat handily by a TX Tech team that was a 3 seed in that last final four.

Big 12 has been in 3 of last 4 final fours (16, 18 and 19) with 3 different teams.... Big whoop Bc we didn’t win any of the titles - the ACC and Nova has closed snd hung banners. At KU we care about Conf titles, final fours and national titles. And if the latter doesn’t happen it’s a disappointment. Your standards are clearly different at Iowa.

How does Iowa have 26 appearances but only 20 losses?

So Iowa’s neck and neck with their lil brother and they beat literally the two weakest KU teams in the modern era. Congrats to them.

Yeah, on a historical level, not even close. I have Kansas State #23 in my all-time rankings; Iowa comes it at #43.

Hilariously, a Big 10 homer claimed that they’re not even close in the other direction. How he determined this is anyone’s guess.

Our little brother, whom we beat 31 straight times from the mid-90s to mid-00s, has a much better history than “Big Brother” in Iowa. 😂

Good question. K-State certainly hit the doldrums in the 90's and the the early 2000's. Other than that, they've been a pretty consistent program. 4 Final Fours and 13 Elite Eights is worthy of being an all-time top 25 program.

Having Tex Winter as your coach for 15 years has to count for something, too. He was one of the most instrumental coaches the sport has ever known.
