I knocked out Seeds 1-5. Someone take seeds 6-10, someone else 11-16... Mine are unquestionably the best 1-5 seeds. I didn't worry about travel or region. I S curved it. #1 overal seed vs worst 2 seed vs best 3 vs worst 4 ect...

Midwest #1 seed 2008 Kansas, #2 seed 2002 Maryland, #3 seed 2005 UNC, #4 Seed 2006 Florida, #5 2013 Louisville.

Gilbert Arenas, Richard Jefferson. A lot of people think they outplayed duke in that final.

2011 Ohio State would be my next non title winner submission. 2 loss regular season. They were dominant. The core of the Kentucky team they lost to won the ship the next season and went to back to back final fours.

That was a terrible year of college basketball. If Kenyon Martin doesn't get hurt UC walks to the title and two college coaches resumes look awfully different.

2008 KU is easily in the top 3 teams of this era. It’s debatable where you want to put them in there but they would absolutely be a 1 seed. I think 2015 Kentucky was better but that’s it for a sure thing.

To be fair, mateen cleaves missed quite a few games early in the season. Including losses to Wright State and Kentucky. I think there were 1 or 2 more losses while he was out.

Not to mention that awful final possession where Chalmers hit that shot. That being said them being #1 isn't egregious. It was a very good year of college basketball.

Hmm. MSUs starting guard trio of Cleaves, Bell and MoPete is one of the best trios I have seen in modern college hoops. That team was just downright tough as nails. They aren't an all time great team or something like that, but they can hold their own.

KenPom is actually the best thing we have. Kentucky fans just think it’s worse than it really is because they’re typically underrated. That’s not KenPom’s fault, that’s the SEC’s fault.

True. Midmajors are never, ever better than their seed.

They were just lucky to beat three ranked teams, including #8 Georgetown and a blowout of #6 Wisky.
