After the election he will totally reveal his green new deal. The problem is that global warming has been going on since the end of the last ice age. Man can add to it but we can't throw away our economy and future for some climate religion that is not totally understood. The folks up North that depend on fuel oil for heat are really going to get jobbed by the dude and it is all on him. Remember Al Gore stated that by 2005 Manhattan would be under water from the rising sea level. Well this morning I watched the news from New York City and they were still high and dry. Then AOC says climate change will end the world in 12 years. I am willing to bet it will not.
The President has already cost me a big bunch of money in my retirement and bank accounts. He is a moron when it comes to economics. I don't know who is running him.
The only thing I can do to stop this stupidity is to send money to my two senators when they run and support my congressman the same way. That is about all I can do. McConnell, Paul and Guthrie. All good guys.
Maybe if Congress gets switched they can limit the regulations that he uses against our energy sector.

DeSantis is the only hope. He has to be the Republican candidate. People will vote for him and Florida proved it. He even dominated in Miami and they historically bleed blue. Us Floridians got it right and the rest of the country shit the bed, although it is now looking very likely that Republicans will take Wisconsin and Nevada in the senate race. If Dems take Arizona (which isn't a lock yet), it will all come down to Georgia and that race is going to a run-off. This shit won't be decided for another month.

I'm curious about the abortion topic. What races were won because of this? So it wasn't the supposed red wave the republicans were predicting. They still will have the house back and at least have a shot at the senate. Not exactly a loss. But more importantly, in the states that have the most controversial abortion proposals, the republicans won I believe. And I don't think the republicans were the ones who focused on abortion.

I’m a republican and for health reasons alone I think it should be legal. We can recognize that a high majority of abortions are done because people are lazy, but also recognize that the women who need them to live should have a right to them. I agree with @WeAreDePaul though, totally shot ourselves in the foot.

You could certainly be right. But I don't know. I think the people who vote on the issue have always voted the same way. But like I said, how significant was it either way when you look at who won and where? There were non stop ads against Ted Budd and Michael Lee in North Carolina with all kinds of fear mongering regarding abortion, and in a state that traditionally swings parties, both of them easily won their races. Just one example, I know. But still.
I odn't understand how people can care so much about unborn babies that they are willing to continue to go through what this current administration is putting this country through..
