I, for one, am shocked that a fact-checker funded by Facebook, a company which has been rampantly censoring discussion of the vaccine, concluded that this is untrue with no proof.

I am shocked that a conspiracy theorist who has posted more false and misleading information than true information concluded it is true without proof.

Hey, you should work for Politifact. "That's false. Next!"

I never said that it's definitely true. But if I have to choose between giving the benefit of the doubt to an insider who gave sworn testimony, which led to a lawsuit, vs a fact-checker's arbitrary "ruling," yeah I'm going with the first one.

Did you happen to watch the Fauci clip? I've been telling you that many scientists/virologists have been freaking out about the possibility of ADE and predicting that it's happening right now. Now your boy Fauci is echoing the possibility. This is what happens when you trust "experts" who change their stance every 30 seconds.

I think we'd all agree on this one at least, don't play that game it ain't worth it

Probably dodged a bullet.

Maybe who knows at this point. I def dont trust the shit and think its pointless for me personally bc im 35 160lbs and already had covid back in janury and all i had was loss of smell.

who knows tho i just cant trust the numbers i see when every other countries numbers seem to be contradicting our numbers.

I’m mid-30s too and a little under 200. I’ve stayed in fairly good shape. I seem to have an autoimmune thyroid problem though, so I was a little worried last year in the early stages of this. But I was able to kick its ass within a few days, with help from zinc and oregano oil. Missed maybe a few hours of work total. I’ll trust my natural immunity over the jab any day, and there’s plenty of data out there to support that.

The willingness of the masses to participate in a global experiment is baffling to me. Also baffles me that people can’t see through the blatant smear campaigns of Ivermectin and HCQ.

But one thing’s for sure...those who are fully vaccinated are fully invested in this and no facts or data will change their minds.

Me neither. One of my sisters is an NP and her husband is a Nurse. Both working in a COVID ward. Right now 89% of the hospitalized COVID patients at her hospital are unvaccinated. Median age has come down a bit as well. I know both of them are exhausted at this point, particularly now that many of the patients they’re seeing could have avoided the hospital stay.

I’m under 40 and in good shape, but I’m happy I took the vaccine and will take a booster if my antibodies are gone. For me it’s not about “will I survive” as I’d be very likely to. Personally speaking, I’m a gigantic baby when I get sick and will take available precautions to avoid it.

Even Fauci has now admitted the possibility of the vaccines actually making infections worse and causing more severe reactions. And there's plenty of worrisome data appearing throughout the world.

If you're trying to take every precaution, I'd think you would consider all possibilities.

It’s shown to reduce the effects when breakthrough infections occur.

Just FYI, I’m a healthcare analyst. I get paid to read about the industry. I know the data. I would still consider it the best option, though I would do that along with other steps. If you have multiple arrows in your quiver, why go with just one?

So how do you explain those numbers from England?

More deaths have been reported to VAERS for the covid-vaccinated than for all other vaccines combined for the last 30 years.

The number of covid shots administered in the US so far this year (309 million, as of a week ago) is about the same as all other vaccines administered in 2020 (316 million). Yet there have been 36 times more deaths reported this year among those who rec'd covid shots than were reported last year for all other vaccines. But no biggie.

Spin, spin.

Oh, sorry....434.

The document is right there. Big conspiracy by Public Health England?

It’s getting harder and harder to excuse your ignorance.

a) You are comparing deaths to cases, rather than comparing deaths to the vaccinated and unvaccinated populations. If you don’t see the error in that, I’ll explain it to you, but you should be able to see it. Of note, cases only count when people are sick enough to get tested.

b) People with one dose are unvaccinated. Count them accordingly. Notice the stark contrast in the number of cases?

c) The numbers are strictly for the Delta variant.

d) Those age 50+ are at the greatest risk of dying from COVID and also the most vaccinated. If you have 100 old people, 80 vaccinated and 20 unvaccinated, and let’s say for illustration, a 5% death rate for the unvaccinated and 3% death rate for the vaccinated (relative to population) you get this:

Vaccinated deaths: 2.4
Unvaccinated deaths: 1

That doesn’t mean the vaccine isn’t working. You understand now? You can’t argue the vaccines aren’t working because they’re preventing people from getting sick.

“Scientists at the Medical Research Council Biostatistics Unit at the University of Cambridge estimate the infection fatality rate for Covid-19—the proportion of those infected who die—has fallen to 0.14% in the U.K., from a peak of 1.86% in January, when the pandemic was at its fiercest. For the over 75s, who are more at risk of developing severe illness than younger age groups, the estimated infection fatality rate has declined to 2.3% from close to 20%.”

The chances of dying having fallen dramatically from the point when vaccines came onto the scene. Hmm

I was anti vax, but after having the virus for going on a month, different stages, I would recommend the vax.

Everyone I know who had the vax and got COVID had mild symptoms for a few days. Folks like myself and my wife went down hard. Wife had more of the flu and I had the cough. It was awful.

I now know I am in a real good place as those that have had it are in the best shape going forward.

But I will get vaccinated as well. Just seems like common sense to me.
