Man bs red card imo he would have regained his balance for an easy clear had the CZ guy not been pushing him down the entire time after he slipped smh.

U have czech ties or just root for underdogs, or jist want the danish to have an “easier” path.

Also feel like the red card was bs bc dude had both his hands pushing him down. Had the defender just slipped, he would have regained his balance and cleared easily but bc he was being pushed he dove to the geound and maybe a supremely stupid swipe at the ball. But still it could be argued a foul was on the czech striker before the hand ball imo. Def rough to change it to red.
But yea def blew their best chance in the 1v1

Austria played behind the ball. Italy is one of the most technical teams left in the tournament. Even they couldn’t find that space to score

The rest will try to play players in front of the ball. This will create more space for an attack.

All 3 of those teams won’t play Italy.
More than that it isn’t about sitting back and countering because Italy doesn’t move their players all over the field
Their back line is always in position. Why they don’t allow goals.
You have to maintain possession and push Italy back

But sitting back and attempting to push players forward on the counter is probably one of the worst ways to play Italy.
Because the ball ends up stopped and then you are creating space by pushing players forward.
Switzerland found that out. Germany always has. Reason why they only have defeated Italy once in a major tournament
You have to build from the back and then keep the ball on your side of the field

Austria wasn’t trying to do that. Reason why they had some success but zero attack

Denmark has a chance to be in the Final. England/Germany both have their weaknesses
If they do play in the Final. I expect PKs or a very “boring” game with a bunch of possession in the midfield.

Belgium need another goal. Being passive when Ronaldo can tie it up at any given moment is risky.
He is too old. Great player but Portugal doesn’t have the talent like they have had for awhile.
