Oh good lord, I mean that Duke is not just regional, it is a national “brand”, which is a rebuttal to your “UK runs the state, Duke isn’t even the tops in its state” comment, which seems a lot more about fans demographics and a lot LESS about how much actual capital the two universities could raise for their relative basketball programs.
And you should try looking at the rest of the message, instead of getting oddly distracted by the wording of half a phrase. Are you really going to stand with Bert and say, in the face of actual financial information, that UK would raise twenty times what Duke could raise?
