Conspiracy Theories, Patriotism & Regional Dairy Costs

Obama did that AFTER the election, right? Coincident.

Correct, I think. The news broke after the election - I assume that's when he actually did it. There was little to nothing we could do on short notice before the election to prevent the cyber attacks or the pro-Trump/anti-Hillary propaganda on FB. Hell, officials still aren't sure we can stop it from happening this year.

Here's a good measure on who is Putin's bitch. Russia threatened us and told us not to attack Assad's assets, Obama bitched out. Russia warns us not to Attack Assad's assets, Trump says fck you Putin and attacks Assad's assets.

I'll give Trump some credit for ok'ing the most recent bombing after the chemical attack. That must've been hard for him to cross Putin like that after blowing him kisses for the past few years.

I like you. I don't care that we are completely different. I like you.

"Collude" is a dumb and misleading word. Is Trump getting dirty money from Russia, therefore compromising him? Did he or his campaign/cabinet promise policy changes that benefitted Russia's interests? And did he know Russians were effing with our election?

That's what's being investigated.
Lol. I love this. Collusion is being investigated. The thing is, there isn’t anything to see in relation to Russia other than a couple ill advised meetings. No collusion. No obstruction of justice. Dems are the ultimate conspiracy theorists. Enjoy 6+ more years of your boy Trump.

Wait, are all those guys who've been charged charged with collusion?
What Democrats were in charge of hiring Mueller?

A Cal-Berkeley task force came up with one recently saying that 'there has been a coordinated campaign to organize appearances on American campuses likely to incite a violent reaction, in order to advance a facile narrative that universities are not tolerant of conservative speech'

Yeah, I think you guys are trolling. There is no way any normal human being with an IQ higher than 70 would believe that all of these mass shootings are some coordinated event funded by "the 1%" as some massive plan to... do something.

Especially when none of them have led to any major changes in the gun laws.

False narrative, I’m related to some college graduates that are dumb as a bag of rocks. Also I’ve dated a couple of girls that lack critical thinking.

and this is why anecdotal evidence is poop

The biggest morons with college degrees are the ones who post on Rivals about how smart they are because of their college degrees.
I dunno... I knew this guy one time who was obviously telling the truth compared to most people arguing with him...

Hm. Hadn't heard about this, so looked it up... it's all over the right wing blogs! Man... combine "university" and "California" and righties go NUTS.

And yeah, I think that's a poor example.

A single task force stated, among a host of other findings, that it was likely that there was a coordinated effort by a very small group on campus to invite a couple of VERY controversial speakers (we aren't talking David Brooks or Condi Rice or Karl Rove, but Ann Coulter and Milo Yiannopoulos, both of whose entire shtick is causing trouble) likely for the purpose of being disruptive.

That is not a "conspiracy" like some of the others that have been mentioned here (Bush did 9/11!)... rather, that is addressing a specific tactic used by a single group. Given that organizations of all stripes have strategies like this, and given that the extremes of both ends of the spectrum DO tend to aim to "stir things up" even if it is disingenuous (thinking of whatshisface from Project Veritas), and given that the task force said things like "(we were) developing a set of recommendations that preserve the campus’s firm commitment to free expression while reducing the likelihood of such expression disrupting the mission of education, research, and public service,’" and "those speakers had every right to speak and were entitled to protection" and "This provoked an at-times violent (and condemnable) response from the extreme left"... well, I'm not sure this is really a great example of what we were talking about in this thread.

Do you ever get tired of simply trolling, and actually find yourself wanting to have reasonable discussion about this stuff? Its a bit tiring.
Don't go there. You have tucked tail and ran from so many discussions it's not funny. You come into conversations with crap like "a lot of self congratulating from conservatives." "Woof", "as someone who knows a little bit about this, I can roll my eyes." You know, garbage like that. Don't act like a victim when really you're just being hypocritical.

Besides, it was not a troll, it was an honest opinion.

That's bullshit, man. Total bullshit.

I absolutely have given up on pointless conversations that reek of dishonest troll nonsense, because I am not a glutton for punishment and I have shit to do.

And I sure, I've said things like "I know a bit about this and I can roll my eyes" and left, because because I already know what will happen if I actually say "Yes, I know a lot about political strategies of that era because I literally studied that in years of school..." A bunch of numbnuts will rant about elitism and the liberal left in colleges and then try to give a sentence or two that they think is some intelligent point.

But you are an absolute, complete, TOTAL liar if you are genuinely saying I won't engage ad naseum with a reasonable discussion. Like... a total and complete liar. And I don't troll, I don't bullshit, I don't go "fishing" like you seem to do, ALL THE TIME... you LITERALLY "brag" about starting entire threads where your point seems to be fishing for fights.

So don't give me that crap.

Not a conspiracy theory just historical fact... gun control has existed in the United States since the beginning. In fact it was far more restrictive. Some suckers believe otherwise- the people who profit from guns thank you for your ignorant support.
Holy shit, where do you get this crap from?

When I was a kid you could mail order an M-1 from Sears catalogue. I got a shot gun for my 8th birthday and a .22 pistol for my 12th birthday. Both came from Sears catalogue. Hell machine guns were not made illegal until 1934.

So, I want to see some proof that guns were controlled "since the beginning". Hell the old long guns were home made by gun smiths.

I don't brag about starting threads for the intent of starting fights. Though I usually do know they will lead to some bitterness from bitter people. The only real fishing I have done is ITT. And I did that knowing that if I threw bait out into an ocean full of fish, the same fish would take the bait first. It's just too easy. I will admit when I am bullshitting. What you call trolling is not me trolling. You quote me telling me that I am wrong on things, but will never answer me when I give you examples and you rarely dispute anything when challenged to do so. You conveniently get tired of those discussions and leave until the subject has been changed.

But that's fine, I still like having you around despite you being the way you are. Just remember, you could simply just not engage if it bothers you that much.

Dude, if you want a genuine response from me, just say that and I'll give it to you, every single time. I enjoy discussion, I enjoy debates, and I have absolutely zero problem going back and forth on legit stuff. Plus, I don't mind saying "Oh, I was wrong" or "Oh, the side I don't agree with has a good point." I've done that a million times. Literally just last night I was talking with Jimbo about minority scholarships and said "Yeah, I can TOTALLY get how unfair it feels for a student who works hard but loses a scholarship to someone with lesser grades but who is a minority."

And that's just not true, that I will never answer you. I've answered you a zillion times. Sure, there comes a time when it feels like I am beating my head against a wall with some of the moronic stuff that some randoms post, and yes, sometimes I bail because... why bother? But if you have a legit point or a legit question or want to really go back and forth about something, I am ALWAYS happy to do so.

And yeah, sometimes I don't engage. Look at that other thread; that has turned into such a nonsensical, illogical shitshow that I bailed. But its tough; I enjoy discussion, so when people seem like they WANT discussion, I often go ahead.

So here; what do you want me to answer or respond to? Gimme whatever, and I'll give it my best shot.

You can go back and answer some of my questions if you'd like. But if you go back to that thread, I would like your opinion on my Michelle Obama question.

Uh... I just looked back on that thread, and immediately ran into Boiler's idiotic comments about Democrats not once, ever, doing anything from African Americans, and Bert's insane old man ravings about Obama being the only racist President, and yeah, no thanks, I'm not looking back through that shit show to find your question. If you want to repost it here, go ahead, I'll give it a read and a response.

Hahahahaha. Good Lord he’s such a bitch. Apparently the search function here is too complicated for him.

Like what?

I am pretty well advised on Native Americans, as I am part one.

But I want to know about the incredible things that they invented.

The Adena culture was advanced, but advanced only in the agricultural side. They were the mounds builders and they were good at trade also. They had a good life until the plains Indians moved in with the bow and arrow and killed them all off. In fact one of the oldest sites of Adena culture is one half mile from my house. It is carbon dated over 2,000 years old. This stuff really turns me on.

But, please advise us on the advanced culture that the Europeans killed off. I keep hearing of it but have never seen any proof of it.

I didn't say the Native Americans ever invented anything, I'm just implying that they weren't a bunch of complete dumbasses. You don't survive for 10,000+ years without being at least somewhat competent. Especially in some of the extreme areas, like Utah, Arizona, North Dakota, etc.

US History books don't really provide much context into their history, other than trying to portray them as uncivilized savages that lived naked in the woods. We learned about Pocahontas (of which, the info was mostly false), Sacajawea, and maybe a couple of others.

They didn't teach us that the Natives had an expansive trading network that spanned across across the continent, or that they had built large cities (St. Louis) where different tribes would meet to trade and hold religious ceremonies, or that tribes like the Pueblo people have continuously inhabited cities in the Southwest since around the 12th century, or that the Hopi tribes have inhabited Arizona since around 700 a.d. (during the "dark ages" in Europe).

Man, I heard that our last president did these kind of things to American citizens. Two wrongs don't make a right though.

Is that why Trump golfs so much? A wrong our previous President committed less than our current one? I think it's called being lazy.

Trump has put his foot in his mouth when it comes to his criticism of Obama's golf habbits. That is true.

But lazy? Nah. A lot is being done to turn our country around in such a short period of time. I think Trump is working hard despite his golf trips. He works while he golfs where as Obama just golfed. I think Trump is a better golfer too.

That certainly is an opinion shared by just a few people. Have you seen his schedule? Dude is lazy bro
