Interesting. B12 with a 85% win percentage so far, but has a SOS of #23 compared to SEC with a 74% win percentage and a SOS of #8 or B10 with a 75% win percentage and a SOS of #2. Win percentages are non conference.RealTimeRPI.com 's College Basketball Power Ratings - A leading sports ratings and resources community on the Internet - College Football Ratings

No…. It’s their power index. RPI is another on the same siteJust realized that was RPI. RPI is garbage.
Problem is that none of the ratings are worth much until about a quarter of the way through conference play.NET ranking is a mic drop. It’s not even close. They left out the big east but it’s about 60 on average. Georgetown really brings it down.
Actually if the B10 were to cut off it's worst 4 teams, we'd be head and shoulders above the B12. B12 10th rated team in the NET is 80 and an average of 36.5 where as the B10 10th rated team is 42 with an average of 25.1.NET ranking is a mic drop. It’s not even close. Tech didn’t even have their best player Shannon. Our defense forces the ball outside. We shut Timme and Holmgren down. But our weakness is obviously a team that can hit 3's. They did at a higher rate than their average, and so we got stomped. We cut the lead to 2 in the 2nd, but they went on a 18-2 run after that. Sucks but that's how our team is built. Luckily, not many teams are as talented as Zaga.
How so? Almost ceasing to exist and then continuing to exist in a much worse form definitely fits my definition at being “mediocre” at “continuing to exist.”Apparently you are living under a rock
Like I said, you must be living under a rock. There are 8 other member institutions that have watched the destructive actions of UT over the last 2 1/2 decades and are quite ecstatic to be ridding the conference of that school and making the conference much stronger with the additions. The 4 schools that left a decade ago all left because of UT. The B12 is going to be in much better shape and significantly more stable. How so? Texas is pure cancer. Want ou to bail on the deal by 2025 tho. with Amazon and peacock entering the CFB fold, never know - they may be able to match or beat sec deals just bc they’re the new guys. Also cbs lost the sec….so they could be back in biz.Like I said, you must be living under a rock. Did not peg this dude for a salad tosserI’m all for tongue in cheek
Please take Mizzou back, pleaseeeeeeeeeee. As soon as we can shed the fat and send it to the SEC.

Problem is that it's really hard to compare conferences in this way, especially when there are not equal number of teams.
What the hell has happened to that program man? Please take Mizzou back, pleaseeeeeeeeeee.
I'm just telling you what the metrics say. That was the NET. Kenpom says the exact same thing. People were saying there was no argument and pointed to the NET as a mic drop. So I pointed out that according to the NET, the B12 10th place team was rated 87 and the 10th place B10 team was rated 42.there’s no way the top 10 b10 would beat the big 12. We may tie, but u won’t win.
we tied the big east challenge but OU blew a 10-15 point lead to butler. and some other comical errors. We were the better league tho bc our top teams all won over their top teams. That’s what matters the most.
no one in the big 10 is going to beat KU and Baylor. Who knows below that. B10 is a good league. The big 12 has bounced the big 10 in the last couple tourneys:
kU - Sparty and Purdue 2018
tech Sparty 2019 final four
Baylor Wisconsin 2021
etc come to mind.
so you go next layer and I don’t see it.

Obviously what happens on the court is always a different story. To claim that there is no way the B10 has teams that could beat Baylor and Kansas is a big stretch. Purdue would give either team a game. Ohio St beat Duke, so they could have a chance. MSU has improved. Illinois is dangerous and getting better. Etc.
Early in the season I thought Purdue was going to run away with the conference but the teams mentioned as well as others are getting much better. Hell, even Minnesota looks decent and they were supposed to finish last.
Using seasons past results to say this seasons teams are better is a strange argument, especially considering the turnover from year to year in CBB.
(updated to new NET ratings)
Iowa's weighing that league down like an anchor...can't you shove them off to the Summit League or something?
Yes, i took all teams into account. Doesnt make sense to leave out the bottom teams when they are just as much a part of the confetence schedule.I was curious about your numbers. . Did you average all of both conferences. Does the SEC get dragged down by having more teams. I'm slow, was curious on your opinion.
How much merit is there with a higher % of teams ranked.?
I think Big12 is better. right now. I do expect them to win the challenge.
I expect SEC to be right there all season.
Out of all the defectors, this school is probably the biggest afterthought. You might be able to throw Colorado in that bucket, but Mizzou really has never been missed imo. Please take Mizzou back, pleaseeeeeeeeeee.
