Banned once again from the homeboard

Yeah, but it's not easy. No matter how hard I try to be respectful, there are a couple of posters over there that refuse to keep it respectful.

I mean, Zipp is impossible to have a civil conversation with.

I know, I know, it's pretty awful for UL fans on RR, I won't fight you on that, but RR is a thriving board, your board is dying and from what I've seen out of PHCard, it's going to go down hard. I think she has the wrong attitude.

I'm sure you'll keep a close eye on things for a while, but if it keeps going, Zipp is going to he the only one there posting.

That's what you don't seem to understand; they don't WANT UK posters on there. That IS the board the majority want. I have often resisted calls to ban many UK posters.

I understand and respect that. However, why do you edit posts if it's all "inbounds"?

Most UL fans are not that sensitive and need a babysitter.

I get not wanting UK fans that are there to troll, but to say you don't want UK posters there at all is odd. There are a couple there that have been nothing but respectful, but the message from PHCard is pretty simple, she's going to ban any and all UK fans.

That's pretty lame.

There has been many times the last few months where I wanted to jump in on a conversation, but I know how it would go and I would just end up getting banned. That's not how it should be.

I'll you the same question I asked Lurker. How come you aren't asking these same questions of your own board? How come your desire for differing perspectives and open debate don't apply to your own board? Why do you silently accept it as the norm on your own board?

iirc you can still post on RR? There's plenty of Duke, UNC, KU, SEC fans posting there.

Can you say the same for UL's board?

Imagine talking the way Steelers is ITT on the Louisville board. This is why this board is better. You don’t get banned for talking like that.

If someone copied and pasted your messages to the Louisville board, you’d have a hay day and ban them within 5 minutes.

I just logged out and read the UL board thread.

holy shit, that board is doomed. The paranoia that a UK fan might post there is amazing to witness. No wonder no other fan from other fanbases just pass it over. They'll be accused of being a UK fan in disguise. Who goes through life with that kind of paranoia?

Us true fans couldn’t even post a thread about our roster this year without Zipp and his army of morons claiming that they were probably “dirty”. Zipp was actually pissed this summer when news broke that Enoch and Nwora were returning because he claimed they were 100% gone. His meltdown was glorious. @Ipartiedwithhopgood was there to witness it.

Goalposts moved 1986. To be clear I saw no reason for you to be banned. A few guys appeared to stalk you. Are you perm banned?

Steelers seems alright I will say he is pouring on the pornhub talk in a few threads today around here but he normally seems laid back.

Y'all should hug it out. That would confuse everybody.

I got banned for asking the new mod if she would deal with zipp’s aggressiveness in a thread where she literally asked people to come forward with advice about how to make the forum better.

You can’t make this shit up.

You can't tell the difference between RR and your board? One is quickly dying and one has more traffic than the major arteries in Los Angeles during rush hour.

Me going to RR and asking them to ease up on UL posters, especially after all the scandals, is like me trying to fire a bb gun at an oncoming freight train.

Not to mention, I'm not a mod, you are. You have the authority to jump in and control the situation, I don't, especially on RR.

But I have done my part many times in the past. I've jumped into conversations between UK fans and KU/duke/UL fans and asked why people were being so nasty to someone who is trying to be respectful. It goes over like a fart in church. Well, I'm not a mod and it's me against 10+ dudes.

That's not the situation you, a moderator on a board with 5 people actively posting, are ever in.

Steelers is a nothing burger, he’s passed the torch to another whathaveyou to perpetuate that echo chamber of a board. Yes, I am perm banned. That’s beyond the point though, he just can’t seem to answer a simple question..

Here's my final response. As any UofL poster can confirm, I stepped away from moderating 2 year ago after pushing to get another Moderator named. I noticed a month or two ago that that Mod was no longer posting or addressing reports, so I stepped back into the role of moderator while I also requested the site admins to name another new moderator. A new moderator has now been named, and I will be stepping away once again...only to intervene when swarmed by trolls...as tends to happen whenever good or bad news hits the airwaves. So...start adapting (or not) to the new Mod in charge.

In order to step away from moderator you have to have your badge and access stripped. In order to be a mod, you have to treat everyone equally and fairly. It is clear that zipp sits on a higher throne than the rest and it is clear ITT that you can’t be objective.

I said long ago, @Steelers2012 will NEVER give up his mod status. He's just taking the cowards way out and pass the blame to someone else.

It does suck you and UL don't have a homeboard to post on. I'm not a fan of homeboards, but it would be nice have a bunch of homers to talk to...if you wanted to.

Steelers, you’re lying about giving your mod status up two years ago. @shadow force was named a secondary mod maybe a year or so ago, but you’ve remained the moderator for The Hall. You’re just a hypocrite and a liar. Good riddance fayghut.

I honestly don't get it. Why ruin a home board for posters? You all aren't banned here, and you defend/brag about UL every chance you get. Whatever, I'm not that concerned about your well being as I am about making sure everyone knows what a lowlife, two face guy @Steelers2012 is.

Me and @HRTheCard have seen that and been stoked for it for the past year. Most of the “fans” on the Hall are basically hoping for more demise. It’s almost as if they want Jurich and Pitino to be reinstated, as if that would solve our programs problems. You know, the problems that those three created..
