Another year, another Conference RPI #1 for the Big 12

I wasn’t trashing the conference. Just trashing yal for wearing it like a badge of honor. It reminds me of Kentucky football fans but I look and it’s a fan of a supposed blue blood.

How many sec fans root for Kentucky to win the national championship when their school is done?

That's a poor example, as NO fan of another Big 12 school will be caught rooting for KU. But if you're trying to say that none of your fans root for other SEC teams in the tourney, you're lying.

Most will agree that the RPI is a joke. But the reason that threads like this pop up is that the league's treated like it's the Missouri Valley, despite being very solid for many years.

Nice cutoff point.

I'm not claiming that the Big 12 has had great tourney success. But the reason that SEC fans tear down the Big 12 is to devalue KU's streak. However, throughout that streak, the Big 12 was much better than the SEC (removing KU and Kentucky). There's no denying this.

One top 10 team, aside from Kentucky, for a decade. In some years, there weren't even any other ranked teams.

Please explain to me the multiple top 10 teams each year over the last 15 years for the big 12?

Like a list with proof. you say these opinions all the time without actual numbers or proof. i gave you actual numbers and you flapped at the cut off point.

News flash its pretty much the same at 20 and 10 years.

Then use a better metric to show it

I've looked it up before--Not taking the time to do it right now. But I believe the Big 12 had a top 10 team (other than KU) every year in that span. In one or two seasons, there were two.

It has been and always will be the best measure. The NET I still haven’t bought into.

Regardless of that, 3 of the top 9 in NET so I’m sure NeT would also be #1

Oh my God, Kansas has a Gil too.
