ACC thread...

As I've already told the guy... when you're the program with the most wins to go along with 8 titles, I don't see where conference talk and how well they've fared in past NCAA tournaments is even relevant.

That's my point. Some of your homies are on that train especially with your history.

If the conference as a whole shit's the bed this week/next week IMO it will wipe away what you did from Nov-Jan.

No one is going to remember what you did in the regular season, they going to remember what you did in March.

Do you work for the ACC? This is some high level damage control. After a year where the conference flat out sucked, you dredge up this stuff? If saying that the SEC was the best conference this year is conference honking, what do you call what you're doing?
Do you work for the ACC? No After a year where the conference flat out sucked, you dredge up this stuff? Just pointing out the obvious. What do you call what you're doing? Pointing to the reason for the season. The end goal is winning the chip and not regular season conference strength. BTW, not once have I not congratulated the SEC conference for their strong season. Just pointing out that the most conference teams invited does not equate to the end goal. But you got it chief.

This is the best Rupp has ever looked.

ACC sucked. SEC was awesome. However, there is little doubt over the last few years the ACC has pretty consistently done well when it mattered compared to other conferences. However, does that mean you should put more of their teams in? Eh, hard to argue that. Regular season results still matter. While I think year after year some of the crap the ACC takes is wrong, I don't care how the conference does outside of UNC.

The SEC has to have a good tournament overall this year to validate 14 teams getting in. I think they will though.

ACC is great, y'all have provided us all with some great basketball over the years and I thank you. Y'all are a little down this year and the SEC is at a historical high, but so what. Teams and records are fluid.
