I’m not even sure what an off night from Edey looks like. His “worst” game this year was 10 points and 15 rebounds at Illinois due to foul trouble and TKR stepped up with his best game of the season with 23 points to beat the Illini.
I suppose if you actually looked at the thread you'd see that it is SEC fans making fun of each other's teams dropping. I am only proud of Tennessee and if you had a shred of board awareness you would know that to be true.
Painter has had Purdue in 5 of the last 7 Sweet 16’s. Only Gonzaga has been to more In that stretch. Not Duke, UK, Kansas, UNC or anyone else have been to more.
The ACC was 500 in games vs the SEC and BIG 12 in the regular season. This idea that there is some massive gap between the conferences currently is preposterous.

Purdue is really good, bro. National title good. Them vs Houston/UCONN/TENN, just in my opinion, would be a fog fight. I don't think PU could survive vs wither of the three with Edey having 10/15. Although Illinois is playing well, and solid---not on the level of HOU, UCONN, or TENN....
I think PU gets to the FF...But its gonna be one heck of a fight. Gonzaga starting to really play well. Transfers settling in...healthy. And TENN, IF they get there, will be a tough game. Purdue gets to the FF, they will have earned it.

Not even close. Just because the games are important, doesn't mean they mean more in terms of determining better. Regions are different....not all seeds are equal. Not all regions, brackets are equal. Brackets get busted up. You might reach the SW 16 as a 3 seed, by beating a 14, then an 11. Opposed to the other 3 seed having to play a 6 seed, thus losing. It just not apples to apples.

Yeah, I don't get a the issues here. The ACC is performing well in the tournament, but as a league, it is way down from top to bottom competitively and compared to what it usually is. Apparently that hurts some homers' feels to read, but it’s true.
And ESPN doesn’t care what conference you’re from, they broadcast the games that bring the most viewership, it's really that simple.

So many people cried about the coverage Duke received (Kentucky too) as if they were the ones choosing what the media covered.

I trust both of them. They are both among the best 12-15 coaches in the game.
Duke is playing really well. Its gonna depend on three things: 1. Duke guards handling the pressure...2. 3 point shooting, and most importantly---Flip, and how he handles the physicality of HOU.
But still 4+ to go in this game, and TAM can score in a hurry.
SW 16 is going to be fukin epic this year. SOme really, really good semi's, with the chance of some great Regional finals.
This is really the first time I have watched Houston. Duke can't match their physicality. So they will need Proctor and McCain to do what they did tonight, again. Which I will not be holding my breath.

If I had to guess right now the game would look somewhat similar to this game. You guys have a big edge at the FT line but Shead and company are just a bit too strong for the young guards to handle. But the shooting can obviously change things.

I was really starting to like that Oregon team, it sucks that they are out, Cousnard and Dante are complete studs.
