I agree the conferences aren't that far apart. If you didn't see people calling the conference garbage then you weren't paying attention to the biggest media people in the sport though. I enjoy following all of that stuff. They have been doing it all year.
Again, I want out. I dislike the ACC. The conference has neutered themselves with bad decisions. But, the narrative hurts UNC's perception and that's what I care about.

SEC is a mediocre hoops conference and y’all talk shit non stop. Of course you used to be a mediocre football conference and all that shit talking and loyalty inked you a huge deal with the largest promoter in college sport that made football dominant so I’m sure the same effect will eventually be had in basketball.

We all knew the ACC was a notch below the SEC and Big 12 but it wasn't a massive difference like some here believed.

Agree....And it never really has been. Same old say old at the top. Some years the bottom of the B12, SEC, ACC, B10, BE, are better/stronger---middle as well. All of them are tough.

Nowhere in that thread do SEC fans blast fans teams for fans of other conferences. So, share the difference and stop being so toxic.
Something I have noticed---teams seem to let Edey just "walk to his spot". Its like they don't wanna get physical. Watching the game today, when Edey would get the ball at the FT line, hand off or pass out, he just simply jogged/walked to his spot, turned, and posted. You cant do that. Hes not having to "work" for his position. Teams simply letting him get there, contact free.
His footwork, rading the doubles, has improved exponentially. Still struggles away from the post defensively, and Utah State took advantage of that. Its a problem I think they will have with Gonzaga, and I like for Few to exploit that. Tenn as well, if that game happens.

The BIG East got 3 teams in the tournament, they are very good teams, but they were the only 3 good teams in that conference, so get a clue, I wasn't wrong.
The ACC is way down when compared to what it typically is. From top to bottom, it is the 4th best conference, so what I said was not wrong.

It means television networks are going to spend their money on the conferences with the most fans and then in order to protect their investment they shape a narrative that makes their investment look better than it is. This seems abundantly clear.
To me, they are just pretty clearly the two best teams and I have nothing against either really. So, if UNC isn't going to be there then I think that would at least be an entertaining game to watch.

I'd add Houston. And tbh, I don't think TENN is to far off----especially when Jones is playing well.
I like UCONN over everyone. I don't think PU can survive an off night from Edey. Or TENN with Knecht. But UCONN has what seems like a million fukin weapons. Its going to take a very good effort to beat them.
I don't think comparing the NCAAT games to bowl games is analogous. Teams and players go all out for the dance. Not really the case for bowls.

Talking about games played between teams that are in the same conference is far from conference pride. The B1G fans are by far the worst, but you guys are giving them a run for their money.
