If UK gets in the NCAA as an 8 or 9 and Kansas gets in as a 1; I hope and pray that UK gets in KU's region. Bring it on Phog.
I would love a second shot at Kansas especially if UK has a full bench. Tuff shit Kansas.

KU is probably the 1 team I wouldn't want to see right now. Their outside shooting and defense are both scolding hot right now.
MD is in the 8-9 seed at the moment- obviously won't get placed vs Purdue (if they stay on the 1 line), rather play Bama than Houston or Kansas IMO.
Coach self said that in a 30 game season you play 5 games like trash, 5 games where you can’t miss, and 20 games how you normally play. When Kentucky is playing like how they played against Tennessee and today vs auburn, they can beat anyone including us. I think ku got uk during one of their 20 games where they play normally in that scenario I think we’d win again because our defense is way better. That being said I’m on the record as saying I don’t want to see uk in the second round of the tourney and nothing today changed that stance. Good win and keep it up (I don’t want to lose that quad 1 win we have on you!!).
It will be a quad 1 win for Kansas no matter what UK does the rest of the year. Quad 1 is teams ranked 1 through 75 in NET for road games. UK is currently in top 30.

Good question. I haven't given it too much thought on how high they could possibly climb if they win out. Too much depends on what a whole bunch of other teams do too. I don't see them winning @ Arkansas or winning the SECT anyway though.

We played well today but we’re a bad matchup for auburn. We’ve been beating up on teams with small guards all season.
The vandy game is going to be interesting. They’ve been playing really well since Liam Robbins came back and have won 6 of 7 but again, they play 3 guards that are 5’7, 5’7 and 5’11 that really don’t shoot the ball all that well a ton of minutes. Reeves and Wallace should have their way again.

Beat UT at home w/o two starters...Struggled vs a bad FLorida team w/o their best player. But did dismantle Auburn---which was impressive.
But a 4-seed? Basically UK's entire resume rest on their two wins over UT. After that?

Short memory is fun. How many Quad 1 wins are we up to? How many players were UK missing?
Folks forget we're going without the assist leader in the SEC the last two years, Best shooter in the BIG a couple years ago.
It's Kentucky though, they're superman and impervious to excuses. We're getting it done at the right time without some players. Make all the excuses for other teams, but heaven forbid, UK gets any of that.
Our best player hasn't been the same until around January.

If I'm a 1 seed, the 8 seed that would make me crap my pants is Arkansas. A healthy Nick Smith is back - and throw him in with Anthony Black and Ricky Council? That team could be very, very dangerous.
Yeah that is a scary team. However Arkansas has the feel of k-state 2008. Beasley was a stud and walker was a good robin to his Batman. Also had a freshman pullen. That was a scary team when it was ‘on’. Just wasn’t on that many times. Beat ku soundly at home but lost a bunch of head scratchers. They snuck in as an 11 and upset the 6 but went out in the second round.

How about Texas A&M or your very own Duke team? Proctor is turning into one of the best perimeter defenders in the country and Lively is a human eraser at the rim.
I guess both teams would be seeded higher if they finish the season strong.

Lost to SOuth Carolina at home, and to Alabama by 26. Lost to Arkansas by 15 at home.
You can bring up IU---its cool. They have wins @ Xavier, @ Purdue, vs Purdue, Illinois (2x). Probably gonna finish second in the B10, even with not having Xavier Johnson---or losing Race for 4 games....JHS for the Rutgers game.
