Duke went back to back in 91 and 92 and 7-9 FF’s in the late 80’s and 90’s. So I would say Duke in the 90’s.
Louisville had 2 titles and 4 Final Fours in the 80s vs IU 2 titles and 2 Final Fours. Louisville also 7 S16s vs IU 6 S16s.
Technically, the ‘79-80 season is the end of the 70s, not the beginning of the 80s.
