He was 19-25 all-time against Duke/K, if that's what you mean.
I believe he was 1-3 or 1-4 against Self, including Self’s time at Illinois.
Bill Self definitely, his UNC never beat KU and always lost by double digits each time they met in March Madness, it can be argued that Self was Roy Williams' kryptonite.
True. But, he was better than K (the goat) during his tenure at Carolina, which is pretty awesome.
The answer, as previously stated, is Self. Kansas always owned Roy.
Opinions are great arent they. K beat Roy in the FF, which after last year seems to be a pretty big deal to AFAM U fans.
The Tar Heels went 18-22 against the Blue Devils during Williams' tenure.
So please explain how Roy was better than the GOAT while at AFAM U.

He also struggled against him when he was at Kansas despite having the better team. Something about Self's style of play he struggled with.
What made Williams better at UNC than KU? Roy dominated at UNC. Self's doing pretty well at KU, what was the hiccup between Roy and KU?

I'd say that Roy did "pretty well" at KU too. Top 5ish teams regularly, several final fours, a couple runner-ups. If Collison shoots better than 30% from the FT line vs Syracuse, he'd have a title at KU.

Coach K owned Bennett. I think he was 14-5 vs. Bennett. Bennett also struggled vs. Izzo in the tourney. But, yeah, he doesn't have a losing record vs. many coaches. Just like Roy didn't

There seems to be a weird dynamic of coaches coaching against their alma mater or former employer, after they spurned that school to work elsewhere.
Roy was dominated by Kansas (Self), but Self’s record against Oklahoma State (who has not been good) is embarrassing, relatively-speaking. Lon Kruger at OU was annually good for at least one inexplicable ass-whipping by pathetic Kansas State teams.
I don’t know if the players sense a lack of the usual passion in these match-ups, but the strange dynamic has been palpable.

He was just as good at KU during the regular season. Just had some bad luck in the tourney. Not his fault Hinrich and Collison couldn’t hit free throws. Nor that his best team ran into the insanely hot Arizona team.
That LaFrentz, Pierce, Pollard, Vaughn, Haase team was probably the best team he ever had. Zona was just red hot….for like 3 weeks.
Roy’s UNC teams ragdolled Syracuse for years. I think we have like 3 wins against him.
