Who don't you want to face in the tourney

Lol at all the UVA answers. Pushed Virginia’s sht in at their house by double digits. I promise you if SC gets in they are winning their first game, the style translates very well against other leagues

South Carolina got their shit pushed in at home by Boston University by 8 and Stetson by 7.

Maybe one game doesn't define an entire season. I guarantee you most teams will not be thrilled about having to face UVA in the 1st round.

Plus, we have a championship pedigree and South Carolina definitely does not.

By bracket matrix, we're a 4 seed and I think any of the 13s would be a popular upset pick, especially Vermont or North Texas

Honestly I think both teams play pretty much the same style of game with smothering defense and it transitions well to the tournament. However I think SC has a better offensive skill set from the guard position with Couisnard, Bolden, and Lawson. Which is the reason SC won, ability to make more shots. Think it would be a very close game if two met in the tourney.

Losing by 7 at home to an inferior team is a tad diff than a big OOC game. Every team in the field almost has an inexplicable loss to a shitty team. I will agree one game does not a season make.

Virginia is Iowa’s worst possible matchup because Iowa loves to push the pace and Virginia will slow it down and make it a half-court game.

Which is actually very possible. Bracket Matrix currently has Iowa as a 6 seed and Virginia as an 11 seed. Would be interesting to see how Iowa handles the pack line defense.

... If I'm a 5 seed, I'd be a little worried about some of the potential 12 seeds. The potential 12 seeds are really, really good (Utah State, East Tennessee State, Yale, Liberty). Kentucky and Michigan State could both fall into the 5/12 matchup.

I agree with most of what you said. Just funny to me that you think people should fear SC but not UVA when you admit that we're pretty similar.

I don't want to face:

Duke in the Second Round
Kentucky in the Second Round
Villanova in the Second Round
Gonzaga in the Second Round

All those matchups can go f*** themselves. They've been done before, and I don't like it......

Also, Wisconsin....and not because Iowa would be afraid, or because I'm afraid, but because f*** Wisconsin, that's why. They don't deserve to play Iowa in the NCAA Tournament.

Lots of teams in the higher seeds don't want any part of East Tennessee. They beat us much worse than the SEC teams did.

Florida State. I don't want to face Florida State.

They are way too deep defensively and any one of about 6 players can be counted on to get a basket when they absolutely need it.

Forest, Polite, Vassell, Walker, Williams, Grey

It was a joke bud. We’re a non basketball school on a basketball board, just ruffling feathers

I don't want to see y'all again. Although we are playing better on offense ( and defense ) then when we last played. I get it that it was a joke, but some of your folks are hardcore db's. My daughter is an alumni of USCe and that's another reason not wanting to play y'all again. The only way to get her to shut up about the last game is to say Belk Bowl.
