Again, not with what they allowed in that game. If Theo fouled him (he didn't) then both teams should have been on the FT line about 20 more times. They established they weren't going to call much and for the most part stuck with it...until the FSU guy flopped. Cam fouled him. The flop is just cheap though. Wasn't why UNC lost though. UNC and FSU both decided that in their own ways.

Good grief. It was a comment on how FSU did everything they could to lose that game and unc didn't capitalize on it. Do you disagree? And yes, obviously I am happy that unc lost. Shocker. But if what I said came off as being a dick, then all I can say is quit being a pussy.

I disagree. It was a flop. But he was also fouled by two unc guys.

If this could have been worse. Right before they inbounded the ball at the end my phone alerted me to the loss so I didn’t even give a shit about that Kenny half court “heave”.

I don't like being accused of being a dick when I am not trying to be one. I get no credit for being a dick when I try, and dammit, sometimes I try.

We had to stop and do our Bible story with the kids so I threw my phone somewhere since I had to pause the game, haha.
 
I'm pretty encouraged by that game tbh. UNC couldn't really get a call (FSU didn't get a ton either) and FSU shot really well and UNC didn't really control the boards like they generally need to and they missed a ton of layups and they still were right there on the road against a very good team. They will lose plenty more but I think they can be a team that at least makes some noise in the dance even though they can't win it IMO.

We really didn't shoot all that well. Below our season average from 3 and FTs.

But I do think both teams can take some positives from the game. Gutsy second half by Berry.

Fun game.

When did it happen in the game? Like 1st/2nd half? I didn' see it first time through but I'll go back and watch it tomorrow.

Regardless it was a very fun game to watch.

I don't know about free throws but looks like you shot right at your season average for 3's 38%.

The fan that was talking with the ref was yelling at him about a missed double dribble. The ref looked at him and said sorry I didn't see it I was busy looking for FSU's Final Four banners.
 
That "I'd like to see you try and get a Final Four banner" sounded like sarcasm.

BTW, I'm loving these audio clips from in games, along with the stallings one, this is great.

FSU also shot 10% higher than normal from 3. They won’t shoot 47% from 3 the rest of the season. They also had two players have career nights. FSU didn’t give Duke anything. Duke had to overcome some heroic efforts from FSU and still won.

Cofer went off and banked it all sorts of bs. Last night with minutes left in the second half he had 5 points and missed two crucial FTs.

FSU didn’t give Duke anything. That’s a HORRIBLE take.
