Top 10 CBB Programs since 2010

We also have Syracuse fans around here claim they should’ve won the title. There’s even Purdue fans who insist they were the best team before losing Hummel.
I think we COULD have won the title with Hummel. But you have to play the hand you are dealt. And our hand wasn't good enough without him.

I feel like Kentucky fans would pretty seriously disagree with this list since they have said championships are all that matters. I'm ok with it since it starts right after what would make UNC a pretty unanimous number 1. I also think there is much more to a season and teams accomplishments than only NCAAT titles.

I'd flip UK and Duke honestly. 2 titles > 1 when they have had other success in the tournament too.

I know the criteria are slanted toward the postseason and UVA was pretty meh from 2010-2013 during Bennett’s first couple of years. Maybe we’ll make the list next time.

I think it is more slanted to the NBA. Has to be with KU being ahead of UNC. As strictly a college program one could make the argument UNC is 1 or 2. Getting guys drafted weighs heavily here, which is cool. It is their criteria.

Kentucky only has 7 more wins than Duke from 2010-2019. 297-290. The one extra championship means more to me than 7 extra wins. I give my completely biased nod to Duke.
Well, 7 more wins and 2 more final fours. It's close though.

We're all attorneys here, we argue our case to the death and will use any advantage we can.

In the next case, we'll all argue the opposite points just to win.

And I'm not just talking about UK fans.

They seem to have forgotten momentarily that only titles matter and it’s lame to choose timeframes.

If I’m being honest I would agree and think anything else is just a consolation.

We should have both though. Cal got tight in 2015 and it cost us. Poor free throw shooting probably for is in 2011 and 2014. And 2011 was actually a good free throw shooting team.

One of the biggest differences between K and Cal is Cal still hasn’t figured out how to keep his teams lose as they approach the finish line.

If you guys can make a case where UK isn't all time #1, I open ears.Spend the time to type it out and I'll read it .

That one was house money. Sure, we should have won since we were there but we didnt belong in the title game that year. 2010 and 15 we absolutely belonged in the title game.

Maybe you guys belonged in the title game in 2015, but I don’t know about 2010. Yes Uk was a great team, but so was Duke, Syracuse, Kansas and that Butler team coached by Brad Stevens, who *almost* won it and would play for the title again the following year. 2010 was up for grabs more so than 2015 even though 2015 had the strongest 1-seeds.

2010 Duke was a lot better than a lot of fans would like to admit. I’m not sure why folks overlook the fact that Duke blew out the team that beat UK. That’s always left out of the discussion. We don’t know what would have happened in a Duke vs. UK hypothetical, but we do know that.
