St. John's is the first team in the AP Poll era to have an 0-10 or worse record in conference play and beat the #1 team in the country. This after beating Duke. Great week to be a Johnnies fan.

Yeah losing LoVett or whatever weird sh*t happened with him really did kill our season. A lot of fans are blaming Mullin and staff for bad roster management and not having another decent body to backfill the loss of LoVett since our bench was so thin to begin with. Hopefully next year we turn the corner with all the added recruits and transfers as well as Ponds/Simon/Owens returning. Ponds is averaging over 30/game against Nova, Duke and Xavier this year. The kid is money.

I know your being sarcastic but St. John’s looked like anything but a 10-13 team when Duke played them.
I didn't see the game. Someone thought it would be a good idea to do all the inmate release paperwork at the jail on Saturdays. So I don't get to see the early pm games. I recorded it, but got too many text messages to not know they lost before I got home.
This is one time it was probably better you were working and not watching the game. Give ST. johns credit, they played tough, inspired hoops. Our guys on the other hand......coach K used the word “disgusting.” He wasn’t wrong. Worst I’ve seen a Duke team play in a very long time.
Yeah I caught the last 10 minutes thanks to my nephew's basketball game. Had the full game recorded but knew I didn't want to see it so it got deleted.

it appears so. I did turn it on just in time for the comeback and subsequent collapse though.
I'll take part of the blame, though it's really my fiance's fault for making brunch plans in the middle of the game.
Also, St. Johns is clearly the greatest team of all time.
Lovett quit? Weird. I hadn't heard but with his history in high school of changing schools a few time and his ( and his father's) aspirations of playing at the next level as soon as possible I can't say I'm shocked. Probably rehabs and enters the draft. Sucks for St. Johns and Mullins because the kid could definitely help them.
I'm not entirely sure what went down, nor how. There was an injury, then when it seemed he'd be back there was word (from his camp?) that he wasn't coming back..?
Ponds, Simon and Lovett as a trio have/had so much potential; Mullin just has to be sick not getting another chance with those guys. Esp after having knocked off Duke and Nova.
