Self's Strong Response.

You guys forgetting that Gatto said through his lawyer that self asked for money to go to ku recruits? The ncaa can question him further ...

Seems like a desperate man making desperate claims to get out of jail. No wire tap and no evidence weigh more heavily than hearsay.

thats not called hearsay.... its called testimony....... and UL got their banner removed by testimony of several recruits....

going by your logic...... Gassnola's testimony means nothing as he's loyal to Self and has a reason to lie.

one has everything to gain, one has everything to lose---thats the way i look at it. not to mention I'm wildly biased.

as long as you admit you are viewing it in a wildly biased light...... I think there is enough there but the NCAA is too chicken sh*t to go after a blue blood

Exactly.

If you followed the Adidas trial, and you don’t think Kansas violated any rules, let me pause here so you can show me your Rock Chalk tattoo. Some highlights:

• Adidas consultant T.J. Gassnola apparently paid De Sousa’s guardian, Fenny Falmagne, $20,000 for De Sousa to attend Kansas.

• Gassnola texted former Adidas employee Merl Code: “I have been going around dropping bags to that idiot Fenny in order to get Kansas to re-sign with Adidas.”

• Gassnola also wrote a note, summing up one trip to Lawrence: “Met with Coach [Bill] Self and his staff … talked recruiting targets and the upcoming season. Assured them we are here to help.”

• The attorney for Adidas executive James Gatto, Michael Schachter, told the jury that Gatto approved the $20,000 payment because “Kansas’s head coach knew of and asked for a payment to be made to Silvio De Sousa’s handler.”

And from that, Silvio De Sousa gets suspended?
Do you got any other material other than " let me pause here so you can show me your rock chalk tattoo"? You've used that in another thread or two....

Actually no I haven’t. I’d love for you to prove me wrong though.

(Here’s a hint...you’re going to be wrong just like you are with all your recruiting predictions)

Really. They had proof at UNC. Where is the punishment?

That’s my point. Do people think they’re gonna punish Kansas when there’s just insinuation at this point when they’ve let others off for serious issues that could be factually proved?

It’s gonna be really interesting to see how this plays out

They had proof that the university itself was negligent in an academic setting, but the NCAA couldn't overstep their jurisdiction by saying it was an athletic matter because non-athletes were enrolled in the same fraudulent courses. Besides, it is up to NCAA member schools themselves to determine if academic fraud occurred and UNC said the courses didn't violate their policies.

Still waiting for you to show where I’ve posted that multiple times...
Lol man I know I saw it in another thread but I have more going on in my life than message boards. Let me break it down.... I don’t have time or the desire to go back through all The KU/bill self threads to find it.
