good read. I read an article that states the upper class is considered the top 1% of earners. to qualify for that you would need to make close to 400 k a year. They then broke down the middle class into three tiers upper middle class which makes between 133 k and 400 k; Middle class with an income of 52 k to 133k; and lower middle class with an income of 26 k to 52 k. Finally their is the last class which is the lower class with an annual income of less than 26 k. these numbers were based on a family of 4.
